I know I am not on here much but I had my 20 week ultrasound and we are having a healthy baby girl! I was so sure it was a boy--everything pointed to a boy and I will no longer believe that conceiving on the day of O will lead to a boy, that a low heart rate means boy, that dreams are accurate, that a different pregnancy means a different sex, etc etc. Not that I believed all those things but all OWTs pointed to a boy while I passed the time. You just never know!

Congrats hp! Same with me. I usually just say I had a failed boy sway because I really did sway for a boy but it was unintentional. We have some fertility issues so we were just trying to get pregnant. So thrilled we got pregnant and we are having a girl. Still can't believe it either!!!

Well ladies I received a call Friday from my midwife. She scared the crap out of me because they said they would only call if I failed my 1 hour GD test. Well I passed but I am severely anemic and I have pica. I knew I had pica because I crave ice that taste like the freezer and I am having smelling cravings (again the freezer). I have to take iron supps 3 times a day on top of the prenatal and consume red meat!

Not really thrilled about the extra pills but whatever. Started child care class on this past Thursday. It was interesting. Do any of you ladies go to prenatal classes? They allow us to purchase a car seat for $20 when we complete the series which I think is awesome!

Ah sorry to hear about the anemia and extra pills but glad you passed your glucose test! We did prenatal classes with my first but didn't with this one (just way too busy)! That car seat incentive is great, we don't have anything like that here!

Ah, sorry to hear you're anemic but you'll feel so much better once you're on the iron supplements. You must be feeling really tired! I was anemic with DS2 but, strangely, not with this one.

Has the nesting kicked in for anyone else? I've cleaned out 3 closets this week, tossing out 3 full garbage bags worth of crap. Next, I'm cleaning out my laundry room. That'll be a big job!

Anyone have any tips for moving your kid from the crib into the toddler bed? We brought the toddler bed upstairs but DS2 refused to lay down in it. He just stared at it, started to cry and made us put the mattress back in his crib for tonight. He doesn't seem interested in sleeping in it! I need his crib for maggie, what am I gonna do?

P4P sorry about the anemia. You must have been totally exhausted with it. I will be doing a VBAC class in the hospital but not the refresher course on baby care as I don't think 2 1/2 years is too big a gap that I would have forgotten.

Jadis how old is DS. We moved DD into the converted cot bed at 21 months and this weekend her full sized adult bed came and she just loves it and is happy to give the cot back to the nursery for the baby. We are also potty training at the min and she loves being made a fuss of that she is a big girl now

Also to make the transition easier for her we moved the cot as it was into her new room before changing it into a bed and kept all her same covers from the cot. Then we changed her on to a full sided duvet ( minnie mouse covers that she picked out) now the minnie mouse covers went straight onto the big bed

just been checking out the stats thread, is there anyone left to find out the gender or are all the mummies left going team green?

its so exciting logging on to see all the other babies being born on the march,april,may due date thread, june feels like a life time away! But then again i suppose as soon as we blink Hudson will be here and it will be our turn
