Swaying pink with more than one attempt at DTD??

Hi, just wondering what is the best way to sway for a girl with more than one attempt? We have tried abstaining with one attempt at positive opk without success so I am wondering if this month we should try more tan one attempt to increase our chance of pregnancy. For various reasons I would like to fall pregnant sooner rather than later. Thank you!

If the idea is to reduce sperm numbers then I would drop the abstain and just go for one attempt at OPK + . Are you doing any other sperm reducing things like hot baths, rephresh, antihistamines etc? Could you drop one of those?

I keep hearing Atomic in my head when I start to worry about this very topic and she says "timing doesn't sway"
I'm taking a new approach, love my husband, relax and follow the LE diet.
    Hugs!

I realise that timing doesn't sway as such, but I do believe that sperm count and therefore frequency of dtd does. I think we will try frequent (daily) bd between AF and positive opk and see how we go.

You could try o+12. We can't do frequent so that's what we went for.

I'll give you several options and you can pick. You can keep the one attempt and drop abstain too, that' may be just the change you need.

    -Frequent BD through O
    -FR with one attempt
    -FR with several attempts
-reg release every 2-4 days with one attempt
    -Compressed FR with one attempt
    compressed FR with several attempts

The one thing I think you should stay away from is doing reg release (every 2-4 days) with several attempts. (Sperm Meets Egg Plan).

    Thanks Atomic.

After planning to bd daily from end of AF until O, we realised that this would be difficult this month. So we have decided to give abstaining with one attempt one more try, today is day 6 of abstaining and I am just starting to fade in on my opks so I am hoping O holds off for another 48 hours or so. I normally O within about 12 hours of apositive opk, but I have no other O symptoms yet so fingers crossed we will make it past 7 days.

There is nothing magic about 7 days, a switch isn't flipped at midnight on the 6th day that suddenly transforms your hubby into a girl-making machine. Please don't worry even if you don't get to the full 7 days, I think the one attempt sways a zillion times more than the abstain, particularly if we're talking 7 days vs. 6.
