Hey everyone! Sorry I've been completely MIA... I went and visited my mumma for a week. So so nice to spend time with her and my dad and brother. The boys love it too. My bro is a mechanic so my ds1 goes over there occasionally and "helps" him out.. Haha. I piled on a few kgs over the week, and at my midwife appointment when she weighed me she was stunned... Haha. I'm just awesome at putting on weight when I'm pregnant... 13kgs and counting..

In other news, I have enlisted my skilled husband to build the cot of my dreams for this baby boy -- I'll post a pic if I can.. And I have decided to go nuts creating in the nursery. There will be no wall left untouched... Haha.

I'm also very excited, as we have chosen a name!!! I am debating whether to share as it's a little off centre, but I know you ladies will be kind! We had major issues deciding on something we both liked.. I liked Greyson, he liked Orlando, neither of us were going to budge. Then yesterday I off handedly offered up the name Arlington (Arlo for short) .. and dh loved it! Hurray!! Now for the record, I am aware that there's a famous cemetery of the same name, but here in Oz it's virtually a moot point.. So I'm unphased by any relationship to that.

So. Our babe will be Arlington Thomas. I love it, and I know he will be a soft and gentle little Arlo.

I'll go find some pics of the cot I'll be getting hubs to build and maybe you girls can give me an idea of what colours to paint it?? I'm thinking navy accents and white cot, since I'm doing a red and navy themed room. Let me know what you think...

Oh and ps: I have tried to catch up on all the news.. Sorry Bama for the hard time you've been having! CVD, I am really excited for you that Hudson is so close!! Very exciting times! Congrats to HP and Falling on your girls. Lovely news! And P4P your pics are stunning!!

So I'm thinking the cot part white, and perhaps the change table and shelves dark blue, or maybe just all white... Not sure..

Hoping, I'm glad to hear you sounding so positive. Love the name! Arlo is so sweet for a little guy! And that crib is amazing! I would love to have something like that! Your husband must be very talented.

Anyone else really dreading having the baby? I know that sounds crazy, but I really love being pregnant (even with all the aches and pains and tiredness). Like, I wish I could be pregnant all the time. And this is really supposed to be it for us. And I am starting to wonder if I can handle 4 kids, let alone 5, so I think we really do have to be done. I know it sounds horrible, but I love the pregnancy part and hate the newborn part. My life has been so hectic lately- kids have been sick, dh has been sick, we are trying to decide whether to buy or build a new house, we have to much to do to get our house ready to sell, etc. I have no idea what we are going to do with this kid with he arrives. All I have so far is a plastic bin of baby clothes in ds3's room. (we do have car seat, stroller, crib, etc). We haven't decided whether we are going to try to squeeze ds3 in the same room with the big boys or if we should have ds4 go in the same room with ds3. Either way, it's going to be tight, and I need to make room for a toddler bed for ds3 and a dresser for ds4. I'm just feeling overwhelmed and thought of having a newborn is really freaking me out. I know it's ridiculous, because that is obviously the goal, but right now I'm having a very hard time dealing with the fact that I am running out of time. Plus, I have had some problems with ppd/baby blues. So I'm not looking forward to that, either. And top that all off with the feeling like this would all be so much more worth it if it was a girl. And feeling guilty about feeling that way. Agh!! Okay, sorry for the long rant.

i must say i'm the opposite, i can't wait to hit 40 weeks and get this babe out safe, i normally love being pregnant and am so sad its probably my last time but i've had so many problems this time and i constantly feel rough, am sick of spd and of getting to tuesday each week and thinking thats another week have made it through, babe is a bit stronger now! i will miss my bump when its gone and i'm just fat and will miss the baby kicks and that special feeling but i have been sooooo stressed this time round.

Hey hoping lovely to see you back and glad things are working out for you, Arlo is a lovely name, don't let people put you off i've had too many people in the past ruin names i've liked and mil still comments that she disliked ds2's name (we didn't tell anyone til he was born what it was after the fiasco with the names we liked for ds1). Its really sweet and if you and your hubby like it thats all that matters. Ps how clever is your hubby, mine would struggle to put up a shelp, i end up doing all diy around here!
