I just keep staring at the potty shot and hoping it is a cord or something. All the images I see of boy potty shots at 12 weeks are still pretty prominent, but I don't look as long and blatant and AS obvious as mine...which makes me suspicious...either that, or nervous that he will be a porn star someday. UGH. here i am again..ON the computer.... I just wish I had a clear nubshut to either disprove it or align with it so I can stop obsessing. It's driving me mad and my husband is just hating me right now. he told me he is calling my doctor today to talk to her about my depression. I just wish he would understand that it has only been 48 hours...how could I be over it so quickly???
I am booking a 16 week appt JUST in case...there is a 24 hour cancellation policy so I can cancel if need be...but have it there just in case.

What has helped me today was looking at bedding. Boy or girl I am getting new bedding. I decided my color schemes too. If it's a boy I am doing the bright aqua and gray and girl I am going to do pink, aqua and gray. I was looking at pottery barn kids at they beddings sets. SO adorable! I am kind of ready to know what it is just so I can start shopping LOL.

I saw this online and thought I'd pass it on...
Helpful Hints
Don't censor or deny your feelings. It is OK to feel angry, disappointed, guilty, or depressed. Admitting these feelings to yourself is the first step to working through them.
Talk about your feelings with someone you trust, such as your husband, your partner, a family member, or a healthcare professional like a midwife or therapist specializing in women's mental health.
Let time help you heal. Pregnancy and the first few months after birth can be an emotional and physical roller coaster. Hormones, sleep deprivation, and adjusting to an entirely different lifestyle can make you especially vulnerable to disappointment and depression.
Your feelings will come and go. Even with support and help, feelings of disappointment over the sex of your baby may be triggered every now and again. Remember that this is normal, and don't be hard on yourself when it happens.
Pass it on. There is very little clinical literature or formal resources for women grappling with disappointment over the sex of their baby. Let people know that you would be willing to talk to other women about their feelings.Last edited by xokatietatie; April 17th, 2013 at 04:00 PM.

I booked a gender scan before I even had my 12 week scan. I had such a strong feeling I was having a girl and my instinct had been right with all 3 boys but I didn't want to get too excited, but if it was a girl I wanted to know ASAP
After I got so many boy guesses on the nub I considered cancelling it. Like you I felt that if I heard blue I would have wasted the money.
But its driving me crazy not knowing. I think it will be worth the money just so that I know one way or the other and can begin moving on.
I've spent most of today thinking "pleeeeeeeeeeeeease be a girl, I will do anything if I can just be blessed with a healthy baby girl, is that really so much to ask?" now I'm feeling silly because its too late the baby is whatever gender s/he is. And I'm pretty certain that its a boy.
I just need to get this bit over with. Theres no way I can wait until my next official scan, its not until the 13th of June. I'll be 22 weeks by then.Feb 2006

I am sorry that so many of you are feeling down. I am doing ok. I have accepted that it is what it is and no amount of worrying is going to change that!! My daughter came to me this morning and told me that
she wishes every night that the baby is a girl, but that her wishes never come true so it will be a boy. I feel heartbroken for her and I am hoping that it is a girl for her!!! 10 days until my gender scan!!!Tiffany- SAHM to 3 sweet peas
