Boy Swayers- How many times are you DTD?

So I have seen some conflicting info on the frequency of BD when swaying for blue ( mainly on a different site); some say to only DTD ONCE 12 hours after first +OPK. That's exactly what we did this past cycle, our first cycle TTC, and I am now 10DPO with no signs of pregnancy. So I am thinking for next cycle to DTD the day we get our first +OPK and then the next day, when I actually ovulate. Once just really doesn't seem enough, although I have seen a lot of successful sways where women did get pregnant after just DTD once. What is everyone else planning on doing?

That is because other sites follow the old, outdated, debunked Shettles timing methods that DON'T work and make it really hard to get pg for blue.

I advise DTD 3 times starting at pos OPK (so that night, the next morning, and again the following afternoon/evening) after having hubby release regularly every 2-4 days for as far as possible in advance of your attempt. Some people even do 5-7 attempts, starting BEFORE pos OPK. Others choose to avoid this because it's not inline with Shettles. your call to make.

The more sperm in the VJ in your fertile window, the better it is for blue. Limiting yourself to one attempt is bad for conception and bad for your sway. Good luck and blue dust!!!!

Thank you so much for your help, atomic sagebrush! Yes, limiting it to one time only really doesn't make much sense at all...grrr..I wish now that we had done it differently this past cycle, oh well. Next cycle, I'll plan on DTD the night of positive OPK, the next morning, and that evening then!

I know AS pretty much sumed this up but I wanted to add that I decided to DTD multiple times for my attempt not only on the great info provided here but aslo due to the fact that both of my DDs were concieved from DTD 1 time during ovulation! I know a lot of other factors likely contributed and I dont know what Im having yet but it made perfect sense to me to have multiple attemps. We got pregnant on our first attempt DTD every other day and then O-4, O-2,O-1, and O!!

I DTD 3 times and DH was releasing every 2 days
