I'm still very busted up here. Been crying all afternoon. Will this ever get better? I feel so sorry for this little baby. And I foolishly feel sorry for myself...I am forever going to judged at pitied upon for having three boys. I hate that I feel like I can't tell anyone if this truly is a boy. If it were a girl i would shout it from the rooftops.

Had my appointment today. The doctor was not worried about me drinking so much water, she actually encourages it and says I should be drinking 100ml a day! She said the GD would not start until later in pregnancy so it would not be that. It looks like I have a stubborn baby on my hands, it took 3 different people to find the heartbeat. Has anyone else had issues with them finding it?

Navy, maybe your placenta is in front of the baby making it difficult to detect? Have you felt any movement yet?

I need opinions asap and everyone's opinion really matters to me. I missed my 12 week ultrasound and I'm 15 weeks now and still wanted to be tested for down syndrome so I'm going in for blood work tomorrow...something called a quad test cause its too late to find out through ultrasound. Anyway, the reason I missed my appointment is because my husbands schd varies from day to day and I usually have no one to watch my girls. Tomorrow he's off so will definitely go for the blood work....Lord willing there's a place about 20 mins from myhouse that does gender ultrasounds as early as 15 weeks for $40. I'm so tempted on going before or after the blood work and not tell my dh so that if its a boy (praying amd begging God) I can plan a surprise for him. What you all think?

No the placenta is in the back, I asked at my ultrasound because with DS2 it was in the front and it took forever for me to feel him. I am 13 weeks today so no movement. I have never felt movement this early. I had my scan a week ago and the baby was very active. They did find it for a brief second today and they didn't seem concerned at all.

A friend of mine is due in September and she just announced she is having a girl. She has one child now, a boy. I want to be happy for her but I'm just frustrated, sad and jealous.

I can totally relate. I have 2 friends due in August and both are having girls after 1 boy!

Navy, just sounds like baby was floating around hiding from you then! I have felt movement every now and then since last Friday. Maybe it's baby trying to make me happy.

Katie...ughhhhh...I understand! I seriously need to get off Facebook so I quit seeing baby girl announcements. Makes me tear up instantly. INSTANTLY. Are you going to announce the gender once you know for sure?

Alyssasmom, for only $40 I would def go! I'm positive I can see that mine is about at only 12 weeks so I bet it would be easy to spot at your stage.

If it's a girl, I'll probably tell everyone right away. If it's a boy, I might keep it to myself a while. I always dreamed of putting "Sugar and spice, and everything nice..." as my FB status, and seeing how many people caught on.

If it's a girl for us I plan on doing gender reveal photos. I want to do the one where you have the box and it says boy or girl and then have pictures taken of us opening the box and have pink balloons flying out.
