    is this really a "boy"???

The ultrasound tech was quite rude to us and thought we were questioning his ability when we asked him to explain. I'd really like a girl, but would honestly be okay if it was indeed a boy. I just want to confirm for sure since we can't tell why this pic makes the baby a boy. There is no place where we can go for a second opinion here where I live, so we can't go for a 4D ultrasound to put our minds at rest. I just seriously don't want to plan/buy things for a baby boy if there is any question that it might indeed be a boy. We've looked online in google images at various images and whenever we see "2 little white dots", the pics were labeled "girl". Any help...opinions or facts would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see clarification either way in this picture.

Sorry... But it looks like a boy to me. And just like the willy is touching one of the legs which makes it confusing..!? Just because the picture isn't great doesn't mean he couldn't clearly see it was a boy. I think it can be quite tricky to freeze the frame where you want it sometimes. It's less likely that a girl was mistaken for a boy, than say a boy mistaken for a girl. I just don't want you to get your hopes up and then be disappointed.

Ditto what Tree said. Congratulations I wish your nasty tech could have taken the time to show you your little guy's little guy so you are not left with confusion!!
    Hoping for a pink rainbow!

Looks (and sounds) like it is most likely a boy. It would have been nice for the tech to take a clearer pic for you, though.

    thank you for responding

Thank you all for taking the time to respond to me. I honestly never doubted that the tech knew what he was doing...I just couldn't understand (and honestly still don't) know how to look at this pic. I look at the ultrasounds from my other kiddies and can't see how this is suppose to be a boy when it looks more like my daughter's pic instead of my son. =/ Wishing I could open my eyes and see what some of you guys see. (Not that I doubt your judgement either...I just honestly can't make it work.) I'm crossing my fingers that I will eventually get another opportunity to peek inside at my little one to point it out and clearly see to put my mind at ease.

    Thanks again ladies!!!
