I had an episiotomy with ds1 and tearing with ds2 I tried the massage both times think I'll go with the orgasms lol s sounds more fun thanks for tip! I'm hoping for a water birth too if I'm rerisked enough by then to be allowed one!

Oh haven't let myself think about it in case it wasn't going to happen so fx not tempting fate!

Thorz poor you! 4 weeks is very often here it's about 8 for a normal pregnancy so wouldn't worry too much hope all okay with bubba and ankle not broken x

Just wanted to let u all know I have my gender scan Sunday at 12 o clock! So nervous! I know I don't post often but I'm always catching up with u girlies! Praying everything is ok during my scan. I have 2 boys already so would love to here girl, I'll post on Sunday evening to let u know. You will be the only ones that know have kept it a secret from everyone else!!

I had anestheic when i had the episomoty (i think, i was pretty out of it) but i still felt everything. DS1 was also born with ventouse as they needed to get him out quick but i went to a birth centre with DS2 so they didnt do episomotys there and everything was natural, i tried for a water birth but DS2 was too quick and wouldnt wait, i'm just hoping this labour isnt any quicker as we might not make it to the hospital in time

Liking the vibrator idea too, i'm willing to try anything to not tear, i've done loads of reading on the best position to give birth to stop tearing and also loads of reading on perineal massage so hoping these things combined will cut the risk down.

Oh my goodness, the pain is unbearable!! It's 330am here I woke up from the pain. I had to pee and could not walk, I had to hop, the problem with that is the other leg is my worst hip so now because they are on opposite sides of my body, I can't use one side or the other to bare all my weight. Looks like I'm going to spend the day at the doc. I would be SHOCKED if this is not broken. I have a very high tolerance for pain, this woke me from my sleep!

*******its now 630 I still haven't slept, the pain is too intense o I've had a total of 1 hour sleep! DH just went to a friends house to see if they can come be with the boys while he takes me to the hospital. Hopefully I get home before the carpet installation. Ugh what a day this will be.

Hi ladies, been a few days since I last commented (phones a pain in bum when I try comment) hoping all goes well for the ladies going through a hard time at the moment, been checking progress of you everyday & hoping for the best outcomes.

After reading all your birth stories, which I love to hear about, I had to comment with mine .

With my DD I was induced at 36+ weeks due to Pre Eclampsiaafter a week in hospital and numerous blood, wee and blood pressure tests, sweeps & essays I finally got to 2cm and taken to delivery. Once my waters had been broken by the midwife at 8.15pm I was off, was 3cm up until 9.45 but my contractions has been coming constant the whole hour and a half, midwife and family was very suprised when she arrived just 14miniutes later at 9.59pm. Saying that so was I, took 2 pushes to get her out fully and onlyhad a small tear, but did have a large bleed afterwards, which ment I had to be monitored the night & stay on delivery, gas and air was my best friend through the whole experience.

My midwife now has my new pregnancy notes smothered in fast labour haa, although I dont think it will be quite as quick this time.

Only 11 days until my 20 week anatomy scan so excited for finding out the gender, hopefully baby wont be stubborn like it's big sister was & we dont have to wait this time.
This pregnancy feels very different to the last, other then slightly raised bp and think my SPD is returning as my pelvis aches every morning and burns occasionally (had it bad from 18-35 wks with DD) im still feeling like im having a girl x

Thorz, OUCH! I agree with the others though, you are sooo petite. Southern, you're pretty tiny too. Can someone normal sized (lol) please post some bump pics to make me feel less huge?
