Thanks afy, this is by far my hardest pregnancy but I'm also a lot older and really busy with school, kinder, daycare, my work, house work, my husbands book work...the list goes on. I've been sicker longer, my skin is shocking and I've gained a load more weight than previously. However beyond all this I'm enjoying myself, knowing full well this is our last baby...and its a boy. I'm so happy that you've fallen pg first go....

A good way to learn about nubs is to watch you tube videos When the tech is 1st trying to get the length then thats usually your best time to watch. You will see a bright white line down there and as a blue swayer you are looking out for a bright white line that will be pointing up out of the middle of it. A girl will just have a slightly longer bright white line which could appear as two bright white lines pointing out of the bottom of baby. If you look on my confirmed nub pics for boys then there is a clear video showing a perfect boy nub from baby Dave, I'll see if I can find some clear girl vids for you to look at We should have a thread in the ultrasound section with videos to study before scan shouldnt we!!

Well ladies, imay have got my bfp! The line was light though. I have had bloods taken and should get confirmation tomorrow.

My next query is which due date I should use? My lmp was 20/03/13 but I ovulated on 15/04/13. If I go by march, I am due in dec but if I use the ovulation date I am due January.

Yaaaaaay huge congratulations to you zebaniee!!! Usually the docs ask the first day of your menstrual cycle (first day of last period).
I was on some due date calculators and they asked first day of last period and that's how I got my due date..

Woooo Congrats zebaniee!!!! I got the same, a light bfp. Couldnt believe it when i saw it. I shall phone the docs tomorrow and get them to confirm it. If i go by my last period date.. It calculates my EDD 01/01/14 .... Omg!!!
