Keeping my fingers crossed for you, Emily. Like you googled for me, spotting can be normal! Is it constant or intermittent? One of my friends had continuous bleeding for the entire first 16 weeks of pregnancy and her son turned out perfect, so it can still be okay. I sure do hope you don't have another chemical, but if you do, we'll be here to commiserate. They are so, so common and I'm actually kind of surprised I haven't had one yet. I know it makes no rational sense, but it almost feels like it's my "turn," that it is just too good to be true to have two perfect pregnancies in a row. Maybe I'll believe it more on Monday if my hcg levels have actually doubled, but right now I feel just as insecure as you do, Emily. It didn't help that one of my friends who has done IVF told me that 11 mIU/ml hcg is really, really low for 3 days post implantation. But I'm wondering if maybe the days are counted differently for high-tech implantations?
I poas again this morning to see if it was still getting darker... And it wasn't! If anything it was a little lighter than yesterday morning. Could be explained by maybe being more hydrated today than yesterday, so I'm trying not to worry. My spotting is mostly gone but it still occasionally feels tight in my lower abdomen, like mini Braxton-Hicks. Monday's results couldn't come soon enough.
That's too bad the OBs where you live aren't very sensitive to pg ladies' fears. You'd think that should come with the job description. Could you find a woman doctor or a midwife next time you switch doctors (you said you were moving, right)? IME they are often more compassionate.

Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

Emily.....for what it is worth, I bleed/spotted with both boys...14w with DS1, 10w with DS2....and it was red. As in cherry, strawberry, grape tomato red....I pray that your little pink bean is just burrowing in!

Thanks Cagirl and ladybugs you ladies are great. Niva I hope you hear good news on Monday - It would make sense that IVF was slightly different.
Cramping has got less but spotting is brighter red (less of it though) and had a temp dip.
I think I just need to stop overanalysing as there is nothing I can do except take my vitamins and eat healthily. Have decided that I will assume everything is OK unless AF shows. worrying has got me nowhere so lets see what blind optimism does.
Whilst thinking positively I decided to look up my potential due date - OMG it is the day after DS 2that means if all goes well (fingers crossed) all three children will have birthdays within 17 days of each other straight after Christmas. Better start saving!

I thought I was the only person who did this - no BFP yet, but when AF comes to visit, I automatically recalculate my due date (will be 22/01 this time round if I'm lucky)! Would love a due date preferably for when the weather is going to be a little less horrible (don't fancy my chances of getting to hospital in any decent time if we're snowed in!), but for right now I just want to get there ASAP - AF is horrific. Getting a faint line on the OPK today - can't wait!
FX for this round everyone... How are you all doing? @Emily, how's all going with you? Did you retest yesterday/today? x

That's great, Emily!! I will be pulling for you.
Are you still going to get the blood test next week? I would have no idea anything could be wrong with mine except for the blood test and my still-very-faint poas, so maybe it's not worth stressing you more! Or, maybe it can give you extra reassurance, if the numbers are good.

Back on the bandwagon for me. It was a chemical pg. My hcg numbers did double from 11 on Wednesday to 22 on Friday, but my home tests kept getting lighter and lighter. Today (Monday), AF showed. Oh well, on the plus side, the cycle after a m/c (and chemical too, I hope?) sways pink. As long as I didn't cancel that out with my diet cheats, eek!
