So I just started the HE diet. And I have never been a breakfast person. I normally am a one big meal a day person and a late night snack. (Probably why I had a daughter haha) So the breakfast part of the HE diet has been a huge adjustment and I am only 3 days in! A while back on pinterest I remembered seeing this recipe for oatmeal smoothies! So when I asked for some help with my grocery list Cinss named off a bunch of stuff that I thought sounded familiar for this smoothie. Sure enough it was spot on. I have been making it the past 3 days and it is beyond delicious! And has a bunch of great HE diet things in it. So here it is!!! I hope it helps some of you ladies with your transition into the diet! I know I will be using smoothies A LOT especially if I am supposed to try to eat every 3 hours!

Here is the recipe:
1 cup ice
1/2 cup frozen raspberries(I used mixed berries)
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 banana
1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup coconut water (or other liquid, such as juice)
(I have been using coconut water and it's delicious!)

That sounds yummy! When I saw all this coconut sways boy stuff I was thrilled! I LOOOOOOOOVE everything coconut. By the way I have been meaning to ask you. Is it crucial that I put weight on? Or can I just maintain. I really don't want to put any on. It took me a lot of P90x and hard work to get to my weight now and I realllllllllly don't want to put any on unless I need to. I mean I really would love a DS so if I have to put weight on I will just suck it up. My BMI is 20 or 21 I can't remember ... and I am 5'8 and 135-136. Is that ok? And do I need to be eating at least 2,000 a day or is it just important that I never really feel hungry and eat a lot of snacks?

Whether or not you gain weight has to do with where you are to begin with. Some people who are under weight to begin with, should gain more, some people who are already overweight should not, and everything in between. If you really don't want to gain weight it is up to you. I do think at your height and weight, you should gain 3-5lbs and I think the calories are important, because you need the nutrients in the foods.
