I am with the majority here in terms of adjusting LMP based on O, but if you don't, then you will get more u/s!! Lol, I tried telling my MD and the nurse on which day I O'd with DS2, but they still based it on LMP. The 6 weeks scan he measured behind, but by week 10 was on course...too bad the clinic policy would not allow any viewing of early u/s by patients.
Pumpkin...that is one sweet girly-girly blanket!! I feel so good about your sway.
3boys...I hope that your screen name becomes 3boys+1girl in about 33 weeks time!!!
I love it that we are all waiting and wanting pink!!!!! If I am not wrong, we are all waiting for our first daughter and the chance to experience both genders!!

Ladybugs, I was sent 4 weeks early for our 1st scan due to them dating me on LMP not on ovulation. Upon the scan they then dated the pregnancy and it turned out that if the little one had measured one day less, they would have sent us for another one 4 weeks later, but since he measured one day older, we would have had to wait for the 20 week scan. So we went for a private one at 12 weeks instead.

Gecon...what access do you have this time around with private scans?
With DS2, I was sent as I was bleeding and the betas were not so convincing as with DS1.....
That is crazy about the day one way or the other....good thing that you had access to private scans. I wish that we had one closer. Our main scan time is around 19 weeks.....and if I am lucky enough, it will be ordered at my next appt. The wait is 4+ weeks locally and about 4 weeks in the big city 1 hour away... I want to be able to book my appt for the slower week at work in July. We will have to wait and see about my scan locally....and how nice they are.'06'06

Good morning ladies,
So I rang my doctor and made an appointment for tonight. Apparently they will do a scan and blood test etc.
Exciting! Feels a lot more real now that I have the appointment booked.
I don't suppose there is much point in filming tonight's scan, is there? With it being so early, I think it is just about making sure the little one is where it should be. Still I think OH will want to come.
Ladybugs, I have no idea on scans at the moment. I hope to find out more tonight and keep you all posted.
Happy Monday all.

I didn't go till week 10 last time in Spain but am thinking I might try to get an app soon and fib a bit about my dates otherwise I risk not being able to fit in a 12 week scan so I would have to wait till I had found a doc etc in Asia which is much later than I want to wait!! Also I have no idea about facilities etc there.
Pumpkin I will totally be nubsessing if I manage to get a scan here.
Yes I am waiting and hoping for my first pinkie too. Really hope that it is Emily in there otherwise I'll have to change my user name LOL.

Emily, your post made me wonder where are we all from (although in your case when/why/how long you will be going to Asia). I know some of us have the location in their avatar, but not everyone has.
I am German and having lived in the UK for almost 10 years, I have returned to Germany last year with my little family.

Emily you are too funny!!! haha I mean, really, what are they going to do? Accuse you of filming the scan and kick dh out? No way! LOL I think it's a brilliant idea
So are you ladies experiencing morning sickness? I never really did with the boys, but my last pregnancy was pretty bad and this one is TERRIBLE! I am miserable ALL DAY LONG, no matter if I eat or not... sometimes eating makes it subside, sometimes it makes it worse! There is no relief from this nonsense... ugh... and now I'm terrified that it will last my entire pregnancy. Anyway, I'm just wondering if I'm the only one, or if others are going through this too... I know Ladybug is unfortunate to be suffering something similiarPoor us! LOL

Also, I finally told my family (parents and in laws) that I'm expecting ... they were much more receptive than I imagined! Of course their first reply was "Oh so you are going for a girl, aren't you?" haha Well, the gender comments have commenced. My dad was the only one who said he doesn't care, a healthy baby is all that matters. My mother is already obsessing and urging me to shop for pink frilly things! haha No pressure, nah... LOL
