How long too long for abstain?

We are doing 7-10 day abstain, well that was the plan, we are already on 10 days and I haven't O'd yet. Is there a certain time you shouldn't go more than, will sperm be damaged? Not viable?!

My gut reaction was that it is better to DTD after 14 days or less but cannot for the life of me remember where I read that. How old is DH?

He's 30, he's not enjoying abstaining! He says he's in pain bless him!! He keeps looking at me like a preditor!! Rofl!

I honestly don't know the ins and outs but if it eases your mind any with my first I got preg first cycle trying after a 15 day abstain & dh was 29, no problems.

no longer than 14 days, you may be best off if it starts getting a long stretch with no O in sight, to let him release once and return back to abstain. If it goes too long, not only is it bad for sperm but he's prob. just going to ahve a wet dream anyway, so best to nip it in the bud (so to speak LOL) with a preemptive strike
