2LB, yes! I finally got my +OPK last Thursday on CD 18. Not too far different from a normal cycle, thank goodness, because the wait was killing! We DTD and now I'm likely 2dpo (though FF says 3).

I'm of two minds about this 2ww. On the one hand, I really want to see that second pink line again SOON after that last one that faded away! On the other hand, I don't feel very confident about my sway this month. I lost 2-3 lbs during the chemical (stress, yep, that'll do it) and then gained it back AF-o. Also I had quite a lot of anxiety nearly the entire AF-o, whch is really not like me at all, and I'm sure it swayed really heavily -- but I don't know whether it swayed pink or blue. So if this month is a bfn, it'll be not all that bad since I'll be given a second chance to make sure next month's sway is more of the "normal" pink kind.

If it's a bfp, on the other hand, I have totally wrapped my mind around the likelihood of it being a boy, and I am really, realy okay with that. I have been seeing some really wonderful brother pairs lately and I can truthfully say I'd like that for my son *almost* as much as I want a little girl for myself. So I think after I have weighted my dice and made my throw, my GD will fade to the background and I'll be able to fully enjoy the pregnancy.

Emily, sorry your boys are keeping you up. Sleep loss is the #1 hardship of motherhood! Hope you can have an early night and feel better soon.

GeCon, there's nothing like family to pull your strings, especially when hormones are involved. Glad you are home and can relax again now.

3boys, so glad your scan showed a strong little baby in there!

Dreamofpink, hope the rest of your home-selling goes smoothly and it's done soon. When will you be moving to your new place, or have you moved already? The nesting will be so much fun!

Ladybugs and ttcpink, I'm with you there on the good mother relationships. My mom is extremely eccentric (though I didn't realize it until I was nearly adult), but we are emotionally very close despite her practical idiosyncracies. I really want that closeness with a daughter -- though I don't exclude the possibility of having that with my son(s) too! My little guy is SO much more loving and caring than I ever expected.
DS is nearly 3 yo. Swayed for a , but we are absolutely delighted to be welcoming a , sweet little brother for DS.
Jan: started LE diet. Feb & March: BFNs. Chemical in April.
May: Appendicitis at 9dpo; hospital blood test was BFN.
Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

Emily, what kinds of injections to you mean? It depends what is in the syringe. Most vaccines are perfectly safe, and your OB will know if any are not.

Thanks Niva I am go ing to bed straight after typing this. The boys are just unsettled because daddy is away for so long this time. Last night we all slept in the same bed which was cute

I don't see my OB till the 6th but I think I will delay any injections till then. I am leaning towards not having any at the moment to be honest. I will need Hep A, typhoid, diphtheria, tetanus booster and probably rabies and Japanese encephalitis - I think some of those are live which are meant to be worse.

Niva, fingers crossed for a BFPP (big fat pink positive) for you this month.

Dreamofpink, the packing is killing me! I keep finding things that I don't want to get rid of even though I should and spending hours reading old letters and looking at old photos! Are you going to move lock stock and barrel or try to ******line to make room for the new addition?

GEcon what are you going to say to try to get a nub shot? They are so business like here with scans that I don't even think they turn the screen let alone print anything out for you. I might have to get DH to secretly film it.

I totally agree that the mother daughter bond is the main thing I am hankering after. I know that some mums have amazing bonds with their boys and some have terrible relationships with their daughters BUT there is something special gilt to girl isn't there? Occasionally playing with something other than cars and Lego would be cool too!

    Good night ladies.

Hey 2lb, thanks so much for checking in on me. Its nice to be included here I think I am Oing today, I'll check for my temp rise tomorrow to confirm, so fingers crossed! Only thing is I had 2 days of the EWCM, but it disappearted before the + opk (yesterday) and has not been back, so I'm not sure what that means about our chances this month. How have you been feeing?

Its so nice to read up about how many of your are doing. I can absolutely relate to the feeling of wanting that relationship with a daugther, as that is definitely a bit motivating factor for me!

Hope that time passes quickly for those of you awaiting scans and that for those of you that dont' feel well, that you feel better soon.
One fabulous DH, one perfect , and our beautiful HT

Cycle 1: January 2014 at HRC: We feel so blessed and will be forever grateful for this wonderful forum for all of the support I had along this journey.

After being told at 18 weeks, the prayed and swayed for "lady"bug is in my belly. Our Christmas gift comes with some health challenges, but I know that we are strong family and will celebrate her!

Ladybugs, brilliant news on the scan. I cannot wait to see a pic of the little ladybug.

Cagirl, fingers crossed for your temp rise tomorrow.

Emily, I am sorry I have no advice on the injections, so I guess speaking to your doc is probably best.

Niva, hopefully this will be your last 2ww. I think you have a really good chance of a pink bean this cycle.

As for me: I don't really have a lot of symptoms apart from being so emotional. I have already burst into tears today when explaining why his behaviour wasn't nice to LO. And then again when talking to OH about something else later. *Sigh* And my boobs are sooo sore. Ouch!

    How is everyone else?

And I am also having these crazy vivid pregnancy dreams, which I can't recall having so early on with our LO. It would actually be nice to have a night's sleep without any dream at all...

GeCon, I got super emotional AND had vivid dreams with just my chemical, so I know they can start really early. About bursting into tears while reprimanding DS -- I have done exactly the same thing before. And last month when I was so hormonal, my DS started sobbing because I sang a sad song to him (little did I know it was sad), but soon I was sobbing too -- it's like preggo hormones turn on the empathy to full power, even if your rational side knows better. As soon as the chemical ended, the amped-up feelings did too. Hope your OH was understanding!

    Thanks for the good wishes.

Niva, thankfully my husband is very understanding, but I still felt so silly afterwards.

Emily, I just realised I didn't respond to your question about the nub shot. I am thinking of telling the person doing the scan that my friends love having a guess at the gender, so would it be possible to get a full length body shot from the side. I think it is best from the right, but I am thinking that might overcomplicate things.
