Not sure if this is the right place for my question....

I just have a quick question for all other nub studiers! My friend has a cousin that works at a hospital and has offered to giver her a scan here and there so I told her about the nub theory and she is interested in checking it out! However she wants to go this weekend when she will be 1 day shy of 12 weeks. Would it still be something we could check out that early or should I try and convince her to wait another week? Thanks in advance!!

If there is any way to wait till 13 weeks I would.

Is she hoping for one or the other? I think waiting is especially important if she is hoping for a girl because in all likelihood, the nub will look girly at the gestation regardless. If it does, she may think the baby is more likely to be a girl when it isn't.

Yeah, waiting another week is a pretty big deal in regards to nubs. I would tell her to hold out til at least 12+4 or so.

Exactly as PP's above, if she can wait that week then she should come out 95% sure of what she's having

Awesome! Thanks guys! She is fine waiting another week, esp if that will give her a better idea of what she is having. Although she doesnt have a strong preference (this is their 2nd child) she does want a girl! (Has a girl already. She is weird cause I would totally want a boy if I had a girl!) Anyway I just wasnt sure how to answer her question so thanks for the help
