I like it. It makes me think of Rowan and Logan which I like both, but agree Logan has become too popular.

Aw, Katie, look at that belly! I look about the same, maybe even a little bigger. Congrats on being officially halfway there!

Thanks motherofboys for that advice....that is a good idea. I will ask her what she'd charge to come over and do that....it may be tricky since I have hospital midwives (it is actually a big medical practice that is half OBs and half midwives, and you can choose to see either one, but you see them the whole time), so I can't have one of the hospital midwives come over, or even know about any of this, to be honest. So I'd have to have the birth center mw come over and then see what happens. There are too many stupid regulations about home births with past c-section patients, even if it was 11 years ago and I had a good vbac since then.

Strawberrymom, thanks for keeping tabs on the dates and babies!

I didn't even really think about where in the world you are or if the policy is different with a past c-section. I know here (and with out previous c-sections) you don't even really see a doctor. Its just a team of community midwifes, you see who ever is on duty that day when you have your appointments and they are all linked to your hospital. So when you phone the hospital in labour if you have a home birth booked they contact who ever is on duty at the time.

I know it sounds silly and it goes to show that I am a Mum of 3 boys who are into their super heroes but, I think Rogan sounds like the name of the child is Wolverine (whos name is Logan) and Rogue from X-men had a baby LOL

Katie your bump looks great. I keep feeling mine has shrunk LOL Baby is very active today/tonight.

MIL bought all of the boys some new clothes. It was supposed to be a reward because DS1 and DS2 had a judo competition last Saturday with DS1 getting silver and DS2 getting gold.
All 3 boys got t-shirts in too small sizes, and she bought the baby 2 outfits one of which I think was supposed to be neutral but looked very girly to me. Even DH commented afterwards that he thought it was too girly and he'd just have to wear it once so she sees then put it away.
Oh well I suppose she made the effort at least. Plenty wouldn't.

    I am feeling it too.
The boys great grandma buys them bags of clothes from rummage sales. The ones that aren't my style I resell at consignment sales.

Had a tiny moment of "why couldn't I have just had a girl" today. I have had piles of clothes that the boys have grown out of sitting round for ages. So today I finally sorted them into 'keep', 'charity' and 'bin' piles. Trying to find boxes to put the keeping stuff in to go in the loft, and finding things that must have got mixed into the wrong stuff in the past so needs putting into other boxes already in the loft. It was such a huge job, and I was so fed up and wanted to just bin most of it and only keep the very best/favourite, things but DH wont let me, only stuff which isn't in a good enough condition. Plus we were rearranging rooms and sorting toys and theres stuff not been played with in a year, 18 months but he wont let me throw it away in case the baby is into that sort of stuff in another 2 years time. Its so frustrating. I hate how much stuff we have in a small house and have to have all this stuff we don't even need at the moment just hanging around. I just thought why couldn't I have had a girl, then he'd have let me get rid of it all.

I bet your husband will get more and more excited with each passing day at the realization you're having a girl! She'll have 3 older brothers who will always look out for her in addition to her mommy and daddy! She's so lucky and she'll feel special as the only girl! I have a friend with two boys ages 5 and 3 and a 9mos old girl and they absolutley adore their baby sister. I'm sure it will be the same with your boys and baby girl. The 25 mos scan is a good idea to put your mind at ease but I think a lot of techs don't like to say anything 100% as a rule of thumb - but let yourself get excited about 'her'... I'm sure she's a girl!

Mother of boys - I got rid of all my boy stuff when we weren't sure if we'd be having another baby so I can at least buy some cute boy stuff if we're having a boy.

Nachelle - I'm sure DH is just a bit worried about the unknown. He's used to boys and knows what to expect IYKWIM, I felt much the same when I found out DS1 was a boy.

My scan has been bought forward to Monday the 3rd so only 6 days to go. I'm also finally starting to feel baby flutters.
