    Eating Tofu and swaying pink

    Hi,
We have a 20 month old son and are ttc a girl. I eat tofu, which is soy and wanted to know What sort of effect does this might have on conceiving a girl? Also, does eating nuts affect your testosterone levels. I am also on 100mg of Clomid. Thanks for your help.

Don't know about tofu but I think nuts would sway blue lots off good fats, I eat lots of them before I had my boys.. 100mg clomid very good for pink sway. Good luck..

Thanks so much for your advice; I appreciate it. I have stopped eating meat for the past 2 months but was eating the nuts as a form of protein, maybe this was not such a good idea for swaying pink:-)

For TTC pink, you'll need to cut down a little on protein in general. It is difficult to start with, but gets easier with time. GL!

Some people think soy sways pink, others think it sways blue.

You do need to cut back on protein and nutrients in general when on the LE diet.

I used to eat a lot of soy products for years before I conceived my DS, I was actually vegan and eat lots of things like nuts, trail mix, and faux meat products made from soy.

I would avoid veggie burgers/chik'n/tofu dogs like the plague if you are swaying pink. I completely cut all soy (including tofu/soy milk) from my diet when swaying. Tofu is probably better for pink than processed soy products.

I also didn't eat any more nuts/dried fruits while swayinig pink. They are high in calories and nutrients. Good luck swaying pink.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in here but in the UK you can get some lovely veggie burgers with no soy/tofu in, just veggies & potatoes or some bean burgers that as an occasional treat fit in with the Le diet. Cauliflower cheese grills are nice too. Hth!

Tesco used to do some looovely vegetable burgers, but think they stopped making them (along with a ton of other products I liked). Might have a look to see if they do something similar...

Morrisons and Asda are good for veggie burgers in their freezer aisles. I think the Asda ones are probably nicer. When I loosened up my sway whilst on Clomid, I ate a them in an unbuttered cheap white roll with le veggies on the side. Lidl veggie pizzas are nice too, just eat half with le veggies for a main meal.

Thanks so much for your information; I appreciate it. How long did you have to cut out the nuts and protein in your diet for it to start swaying? The only soy I eat is Tofu, so hopefully that will sway pink! Thanks for your help!

As long as you stick within the day's totals, you can have both tofu and nuts. you won't be able to eat much of them, but you can have them.

Nuts do have a lot of healthy fats and nutrients in them, but you won't be getting much as long as you stick within your day's totals.
