Dreamofpink, haha, your DH is so funny! DS was a vag birth and my DH has never said I felt any different afterwards (after a few months postpartum when I was totally back to normal). Your vj grows lots of extra folds in any pregnancy, and then they go away afterwards when the hormones are no longer there, so the actual stretching during the birth doesn't have a lot to do with it. And if you tear and they sew you up after, they usually make sure to redo it good and tight -- they made mine almost a little TOO tight, lol! Okay, now I'm blushing! Anyway, I'm very supportive of your vbac plan and you can reassure your DH that you'll be good as new by a few months after the birth.

Yeah, this bfp was the biggest surprise ever. With negative blood and pee tests at 9dpo, I bet I didn't implant until during the time I was in the hospital. Crazy! I'm feeling so much better now, but the early preggo fatigue has just started to hit me like a brick wall. Nearly all recovered from the surgery itself, but I have that horrible feeling-faint-when-I-stand-up thing all the time now, and all I want to do, even when I'm sitting, is go lie down. Poor DS has not gotten a lot of good mommy playtime lately.

So sorry to hear about your house buyers pulling out. That sucks. But hopefully you'll find another buyer soon and they won't be so picky as the last!

3boys, have you ever been able to tell your OB that you were so sure of your dates that they shouldn't move your due date? That's what I would/will do if that happens to me, because then I'd really know the true status of the baby's growth.

Charlee -- glad your ms has eased up! Three weeks is a long time to wait for the gender confirmation... Crossing my fingers you hear girl, but glad you're okay with boy too.
DS is nearly 3 yo. Swayed for a , but we are absolutely delighted to be welcoming a , sweet little brother for DS.
Jan: started LE diet. Feb & March: BFNs. Chemical in April.
May: Appendicitis at 9dpo; hospital blood test was BFN.
Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

Red spotting....just enough to worry me. Not enough to make me fall apart, but I want to run and hide and cry.

Dreamofpink...I think that you have a nice, growing baby in you! And I don't think that you are chicken for not nub guessing..it is a guess, not a for sure deal and the emotional up and downs are not worth it. That sucks about your buyers ducking out, hopefully good interested ones take their place.

Niva.....that is one fighter, being tired is such a good sign! I had to giggle at the tightness following a vag birth...that was me too! I actually had hoped that it would reshape things in the other direction!

After being told at 18 weeks, the prayed and swayed for "lady"bug is in my belly. Our Christmas gift comes with some health challenges, but I know that we are strong family and will celebrate her!

Ladybugs I'm so sorry to hear about the spotting. Praying praying praying your little bean is safe!

Niva, most of the time the midwifes in the uk just don't listen and its very very frustrating. They give you it will come when it comes spill. I think it should matter because it can effect all sorts of things like being over due etc. Hopefully you will get a nice OB who will give you some credit for knowing your own body As I've said before doctors don't realise how obsessive us ladies are about TTC and knowing our own bodies.

3boys, thanks for your thoughts and experience on the whole scan issue. I really don't know what to believe anymore regarding my ovulation but knowing my body like I do I'd still put a lot of money on my ovulation being on cd20, like I FELT and saw on my opk+ digi plus prog results - not earlier. I'm glad that you don't have hyperemesis this time round, although I can totally understand why you'd feel unnerved by it! I still give my boobs a good squeeze each day to make sure they're still tender despite seeing a healthy baby on the screen!

Niva, your baby was truly meant to be!! The exhaustion is a brilliant sign of early pg so your little one should be growing away strongly in there. Thanks for the support re the vbac and advice re down there! I'll reassure dh that things needn't change if I'm successful with my vbac. I need to read up a bit more on it and show my consultant that I'm serious about it.

Ladybugs, red spotting must be so scary. Have you contacted your midwife? The advice here is to do so immediately, although thankfully I haven't had that experience. I'll be thinking of you and hoping that everything is okay for you.

I figure one of two things....if it comes to being a flow situation, the only option is the ER. If it stays spotting or goes away, then I will only contact the clinic if I still feel all over the place. It gets me out of mowing the lawn today Dreamofpink...I wish that I had a midwife to call!

As for scans, I only used OPKs with ds2 and had an early scan, but he did not match up to OPK's and O pains, I do believe that he was a very late implanter. It was hard to hear how far behind he measured knowing dates...so it is cool that your bean is farther ahead!!

It might be cool but it's doing my head in! Lol!! I'm a nutcase and should stop overthinking everything I guess.
I'm so glad that you're taking it easy. How come you don't have a midwife? Did you have spotting like this with your two boys? I so hope everything's okay for you

Small community, clinic only, no midwifes....

I spotted with both of the boys and in all losses except for the first, I bled red the day I m/c then. Actually, with DS1, it was continual bleeding and spotting until 14 weeks...and DS2 until week 10.

My mind is doing the crazy here too....I am trying to be mellow and just fine with it. This baby will be my Christmas miracle in every way...I can't doubt that!

Oh, Ladybugs, I do so hope everything is fine for you! It's a good sign that you spotted with your boys too, because then you know things CAN turn out fine after spotting. I'd try to get seen by your clinic when it is open, even if the spotting stops, just to get another chance to check on the heartbeat sooner... Good luck, keep us posted!

Not spotting right now....I am going to check in with my clinic on Monday if I still feel like this. I just snuggled my boys extra long and hard this afternoon, they are amazing blessings!!
Niva....I just love reading your siggie! And I am so excited for both you and Cagirl...praying that your valentine's are pink and frilly!

Wow congratulates Niva! What brilliant news.

Ladybugs, am keeping everything crossed for you. Good that the spotting has eased up now. Going to your clinic will out your mind at rest. Don't worry about not having a midwife, I find that at timrpes like these seeing someone with more medical clout is more reassuring.

Dreamof pink how exciting to be able to feel your bump likethat . I have a bit if a podge growing but it just looks like I need to do a few sit ups and isn't noticeable unless I wear something tight. Just do your pelvic floor exercises and tell DH he is looking a bit slack these days lol.

I have had a lovely weekend away without the children (first time ever) and have told a few of my closest friends here in England that I am of as I didn't want to h ave to lie. I know that they won't tell anyone or mention it on FB so it was lovely to get excited about it with them. Only one person said I was crazy to have three!
