Ladybugs, first of all sorry you had some spotting, but am glad to hear it has stopped. Will you go to the clinic today?
Charlee, as the others said don't waste another minute thinking about the result of the test.
Niva, those stats are very reassuring.
Emily, sounds like you had a great time and I bet it was lovely to share your news with your friends.
Dreamofpink, sorry to hear about your buyers pulling out last minute. But hopefully it means that something better will come along for you too.
3boys, exciting about the bump.
Everyone else
Charlee, we won't see the midwife until another three weeks. But I think Pumpkin has an appointment next Monday, which will hopefully put her mind at ease.

Dreamofpink yeah I'm from the UK. I live in Kent. Good for you homeschooling!! I don't think I have the patience to homeschool my lot, I spend all evening getting them to do homework. I really admire people who do though. Must be fantastic to know exactly what your kids are learning at what time. When mine come home from school I have a hard job getting out of them what they have done for even ten minutes of the day.
Charlee really really really don't worry hunni. These tests are rubbish. They can change from day to day even. You will get people who swear that they work but they a have a 50% chance of being right. I could tell everyone I could predict gender magically. Flip a coin and then tell them head for girls, tails for boys. 50% of my coin flips will be correct doesn't mean I've turned into a physic. If you are inquisitive minded... You can do a little experiment on them. I did with DS3 and I managed to get a girl and boy result in the same day! Lol.
Niva they sound promising odds in your favour! At least if you get the CVS you will be able to rest soundly. Plus the added bonus.... You will find out the sex much quicker! yay
I have a midwife appointment on the 13th but nothing until then. Hope Pumpkins appointment comes quickly for her!2006

3boys, Pumpkin is still on holiday for a few more days, but no doubt will be waiting impatiently for Monday to come.

Gecon...I doubt I will end up at the clinic, spotting has stopped and I do feel ok, only 11 more days until my visit with her now! How are you feeling????
Niva....I think that your planning is good, those odds are awesome and the bonus of the CVS will calm your mind even more!!!

I don't get my first scan until 7 weeks, so 2.5 weeks from now.
Yes, a cvs will really put my mind at ease! However, I will ask for them not to give me the gender info along with the results. I do NOT want to find out gender that early (that was my biggest mistake with DS, leading to completely unforeseen GD), and I'm considering staying team green the whole way through, even. Now that I've weighted my dice, as Atomic says, and made my throw, just knowing that I did all I could is enough for me. I don't expect to have much, if any, GD if I get a second boy, so I'm just going to enjoy the pregnancy! And if necessary we'll have three kids, hahahahahaha (laughing maniacally)!DSis nearly 3 yo. Jan: started LE diet. Feb & March: BFNs.Chemical in April.
May: Appendicitis at 9dpo; hospital blood test was BFN.
Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

I don't blame ya Niva
sounds like a great plan... I wish I was more patient. I would LOVE a delivery room surprise but I'm too much of a control freak (obviously I've been PG with four boys lol). Team green sounds like a lovely idea. I'm sure you have your little girl in there!

Thanks, 3boys!
I'm not so sure it's a girl ... It was not my finest sway month at ALL! But I can honestly say that I don't mind... What will be, will be.

Can I ask something, ladies? I always thought not finding out was team yellow and team green meant team yellow, but something boy-like was seen at a scan.

I've always believed it to mean the same as yellow. But this might be wrong!? I don't really know. Wonder who thinks of all these terms in the first place? Like DH....... there's never much darling about my husband!!
