knowing your baby gender from your pregnancy test !!!!

read a study published in BBC website saying that

female babies have more HCG ( human chorionic gonadotropin) that is

the hormone produced during pregnancy than male babies .

As we know home pregnancy test depend on this hormone to show you

the result (positive or negative) .

When I read this study , I remember that

with my girls ,I get my positive before period is due to (two or three days earlier)

and the two lines in result window of the test are very dark all of them

In this pregnancy , I get positive result after 3.5 days from the period time .

and the my line is faint I mean test line is dark while result line is faint .

Also my friend has two boys and a girl and she said her pregnance test lines are faint with boys

and the two lines are dark with the girl .

Interesting. With my first boy the lines were super dark and showed up right away but I tested really late, I think I was already 5 weeks along. With my other two I tested before period was due and got a positive but the lines were super super super faint but they were there.

I dont remember that much, but I usually test very late, couple of days before expected AF with DS1, and a week late withbDS2. With DS1 the line was weak.
My SIL had 2 neg tests before pos with her DS1.

I've read this too but both my boys showed up extremely early and very dark.

Ds3 I got a strong positive 6 days before Af with afternoon urine

With both boys tested early but always BFN until after period was due then positive..

I seem to recall someone on this board (maybe Thorz???) who got a BFP at 6dpo and she's having a girl!

This theory would work for me too. I am having a HT girl and my HCG was 140 at 7dpt. My boys were that high several days later.

Opposite for me sorry - tested positive with the boys way before this little girl - 16dpo for me with her (i only have a 10-11 day lp so af was already late and tests were only faint then), got positive with last two boys before af was due
