Hi Goodus,
How is it going so far? I also started the LE diet on June 1st, hoping to start trying at the end of August. I am slowly easing into it, but was pleased to find I am already down a pound or two, I have quite a bit to lose. Would love to keep in touch with others with similar timing...but I can't follow the link posted to the other group?

Yesterday was my first day . Found it easy enough though I didn't quite eat enough . Was a bit too worried about going over the sodium levels and it will take a while to get the hang of what I can actually eat. Going to try and get a proper lunch in today and plan dinner a bit better . My fitness pal is handy for info but I'm finding it a pain to figure out :-(
Hope everyone else is getting on ok ? And enjoying the gorgeous weather if you're in UK/Ireland too :-)

My diet is not going too well. I was eating zucs and mushroom stir fry and had the worst tummy bloating ever!! I am at the stage where I just wish I have more will power to stop eating even when I'm hungry :P because I think I WILL have to starve for at least 1 week before my body and stomach get use to the small amount of food. I know Atomic, you said there is no need to starve but I just don't know how not to if I want to stick to the LE diet. I just don't fill full without some meat!

Then allot yourself a couple bites of meat with meals and take it into account in your day's protein allotment. It may not take much to help you feel more satisfied.
Example 1 oz. chicken = 8/9 g protein Huge difference between that and the typical 3-4 oz serving size ranging between 25-35 g protein!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
