We had a 4 day cut off and omg you should have seen the way my hubby carried on... reckons he had blue balls and could not walk properly lol

My dh is the same... Thinks the world has ended! I plan to go with the 4 day cut off though do you really think it's ok to dtd 2 time around o? 48 hrs apart ? Or will sperm count be too low?? Just after 3 months if bfn I am over it! Also think I know why I have been getting sick , I was doing cot ad well as ural and once I od I just stopped them both! Do you think this may cause sickness ? Or limited my chances of falling pregnant?

My new plan is more just go with the flow and have fun : )

Well i asked my donor if he could not ejaculate for about 3 days before we did the 1st insemination and he said yep that's fine, so that's one less thing i have to worry about. Hopefully he hangs off for 4 days though.
I've read right on O means better chance for a boy so it's hard to imagine how 0-2 works....i get 3 chances at it cos my donor has agreed to 3 donations each month so i need to work around that and try to get it right!

Kris, I answered you on the other thread but I did want to pop in and say that DTD on O is traditionally believed to have a better chance at a boy but both boys and girls have been proven to be conceived on every day of the cycle. There is no magic day to conceive a baby of a particular gender.

I am really starting to feel like we're having a miscommunication here and in your other thread as well. Cut off means, the number of days prior to ovulation that you make your attempt...is that what you're talking about or are you talking about how many days of abstinence???

Oh NO! I'm sorry about the COT and Ural combo!! Although you shouldn't prob. stop them cold turkey, taking too much can def. make you feel bad and in fact can KILL you. I don't know that it could keep you from getting pregnant, but it can't hurt!

I personally feel that DTD 2 days before O and on O will help you get pg and will not make you any mroe likely to conceive a girl than one attempt will.
