Oh Mum23, I'm sorry. You certainly have been through the ringer recently. Just think though, when the chaos has settled down, you'll be holding your new bundle. Really sorry to hear about your dad.

Mum23 my deepest sympathy to you and your family hun. So sorry to hear about your father. So your little bundle is measuring big huh? No worries dear it usually evens out after a while.
Cvd I am definitely going to have to get a supply going because I have to go back to work after 8 weeks and she will be at daycare. I don't mind pumping but so much easier to just pop the boob out I think. I am looking forward to the flexibility and convenience of breast feeding that's for sure!

I went to the doctor on Friday and they did a cervical check. Should have told her not to even tell me. I was closed as tight as could be. Kind of disappointing to hear especially since I only have 12 days left till my due date :-(

Another MW appt today and I'm walking around at 6 cm dilated! Ha! She said my cervix is as soft as can be and baby A's head is as far down as it'll go right now. Just need a little nudge to go over the edge!

oh p4p don't loose heart hun, thats the main benefit for subsequent pregnancies - they usually happen so fast. With my second my waters went and i was checked and told to go home everything was shut tight, day later and i went in to be checked again (no contractions) but i was 3cm and they were going to induce me with it being over 24 hours but i started to labor naturally whilst waiting for a bed and he was born a few hours later, really quick!
On the other hand some women walk around partly dilated for ages before they deliver - not sure which news would be more annoying - no progress or progress that doesn't really mean anything anyway. Joelle will come when she is ready, you've waited years for her another week or two is nothing in comparison and as annoying as it is, the wait is almost over and she will be worth it!
