Hi girls,
I would love to jump on this thread as I just got my BFP last week. So thrilled to be off of LE. You all are killing me with the gas talk. I feel the same way and it's only been a week. Maybe it has to do with eating more all of a sudden?
Meeks, I had cramping too, and thought it was AF. Guess not!
Looks like I will have a due date of Feb 10. I am not thrilled with my OB right now as she is booked through August and I had to make my first appointment with the NP. Anyone have any experience with a midwife. Thinking about making the switch.

Re midwife, here in the UK they are standard and they are brilliant! Might be worth seeing to begin with?

Well I thought it was, dh was unimpressed. He pretended to like it, but I could tell he didn't. Perhaps LE has made me love anything with any fat, protein or salt. Possibly ruined my standards! Lol

I ate mine and half of his! It's so lovely not holding back!

So who is finding out sex and when? Who plans to try for a nub shot or do intelligender wee test? Anyone trying to stay team green?

I basically can't wait to try everything possible to guess. It's half the fun (and nerves). I have a intelligender test in the cupboard just waiting for me to get to 10 weeks! I plan to ask for a nub shot at my NT scan. Is there anything else? I may, may, pay for a gender scan at 16 weeks, but they are about $150 AUD or more. Maybe I will wait.

My ob's office has an ultrasound machine so I may get a sneaky peak on that but last time they were reluctant to guess as its just for heartbeat and checking bubs is ok. I had a scan each visit last time though so maybe I could ask them to print a nub or potty shot but not ask Them to guess?

Hahahaha I love this thread. That's gold. I have so much to look forward to. The drinking is insane. I must be drinking a litre every hour or two. Yesterday I skulled a litre of carrot juice on the spot!

Wow that 13 DPO is amazing!

I always get gas when pregant so DH is looking out for it which isn't really fair as I don't think I am that bad yet. I have a 13 hr flight coming up with sooooo many poor souls trapped with me! I fear for them as DS2 likes me to walk up and down the aisle with him so everyone is going to suffer not just the ones near me!

Is anyone taking iodine to make up for the time on the LE (if you monitored salt)? I forgot to ask the doc when I went and I know atomic likes us to check with them. Basically I saw the heartbeat (didnt think I was going to get a scan) and forgot EVERYTHING that I needed to ask. I even forgot how to say how old I was in Spanish LOL.

Meeks.... You've made me want an Indian! I think that's exactly what we will be having tonight! ... God knows what that will do to my digestive system! DH might be on the sofa tonight!! That HPT is super dark, you must be over the moon!

Pinkpanther.... Massive congratulations on your BFP. Glad you have come to join the madness! Not that I've graced eyes on the woman yet but I have a midwife. I'm seeing her this week which is about time at nearly twelve weeks! Wishing you a happy and healthy nine months honey.

I plan on finding out I have an ultrasound booked for the 6th of July which will put me at 15 weeks. It's not a gender scan so I might not get to find out but I'm hoping I will catch a glimps of the goods. If not I will book a scan for 16 weeks plus specifically to find out sex. I'm going to try my best not to nubsess over my NT scan as it makes me crazy.

LOL Em you always make me laugh. I can totally visualise that scenario on the plane, with you doing drive-by's and people thinking ds2 had a poo in his nappy. LOL LOL LOL

The gas is yet to start but I remember it from last time. I remember it being just something inevitable, that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't hold in. Usually sheer willpower keeps mine in, but not in pregnancy. I have so much to look forward to.

I feel like i've been trying so long this pregnancy is going to take FOREVER. Is it 18 weeks yet? Bahhhhhh

It's been like that for me too Meeks.... I've been TTC a live baby for two years. Some people say the first trimester flys by.... I say every week feels like a month!!
