    Swimming and ttc girl

Hey can anyone help me on this. I really want to include exercise in my sway (more for the help of loosing weight). I have exercise induced asthma and go to physiotherapy so I need to be careful and an hour at the gym 6 days a week is an impossibility for me. I find swimming really helps my breathing and wondered if it has any impact on swaying?

    TIA

my understanding of the exercise thing is that has to be cardio and 6-7 times per week for an hour at a time. You need to avoid anything that adds muscle and focus on loosing weight so swimming should be fine as long as you don't just do it moderately - excessive exercise or no exercise for a pink swayer - if you can only manage a few times a week its best to avoid it BUT please only do what you can manage with your health issues

swimming for me is one of those grey areas on a personal note, i was always a regular swimmer and i conceived all of my boys whilst swimming 6 times per week, its always been my way to loose weight and chill out - but then i was also probably doing other boy friendly things so could just be a coincidence, although i avoided exercise just in case - but from what i know it should be fine but then i'm sure AS will comment if anything has changed recently (its been a while since i planned my sway!)

IG says it sways blue due to pH, but I don't believe in pH and if you do, then just use some RepHresh a little before and a little after you sway. It is a good way to build muscle but also to lose weight, so just go with your gut instinct on that.

(I know we already discussed this but in case anyone else was wondering!!)

I think I'll try this too. I used to swim in high school, and we would lift weights for an hour before swimming for an hour, which makes me think that if swimming does build muscle, it's apparently not enough lol.

Swimming is a great workout! Personally, I'm not sure I'd include it as pink friendly exercise because it does such a great job at building/toning muscle. When I conceived DS I walked everywhere with heavy items in my backpack, which I believe inadvertently swayed blue. Yes, I was walking, but all that resistance from the weight in my backpack helped to tone and build muscle for me. I think that helped me to conceive DS.

I guess it depends on the kind of swimming you do. If you can keep swimming up for a good 60 minutes (good for you if you can, I don't think I could any day!) and really keep going/swimming those laps, maybe it would be good for pink?

Anyway, just wanted to throw my 2 cents out there. If you do swim, just remember to get that 60+ minutes of exercise in there.
