Our family is now complete - no more babies for us. We didn't get our girl but I wouldn't trade my boys for the world, so in love.

Hi ladies! Thanks for all the well wishes. Joelle Lilliana was born at 7:06pm and she weighs 7lbs 10 oz. She is 19.5 inches long. Labor was good until the pitocin was administered but I made it through all 13 hours med free! She is feeding well and doing well. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371614932.848828.jpg

Congratulations to everyone who has had their baby or is due to soon. I am board crashing to remind you about flathead before everything gets manic and covered in baby poo for you
Check that your baby can can turn its head both directions. If not (s)he may have torticullus which restricts movement and can be easily treated with physio.
For all babies - Make sure your baby sleeps on different sides of his / her head, don't leave them in car seats or bouncy chairs too long and make sure they get plenty if tummy time.
Nobody told me the above and my poor DS1 had torticullus that lead to severe flathead on one side, distorted ears, eyes and jaw on one side. Luckily we were able to solve the problem with physio, cranial sacral therapy, osteopaths and a cranial helmet but it was a long and upsetting 9 months that I would love to help you avoid.
I am not trying to bum you out at an exciting time I just really want you all to have the info to give your babies the best start you can. Different countries give different amounts if advice so forgive me if you all know this already.
Enjoy your lovely babies
