Well girls it has been confirmed and i know 100% i am having a HEALTHY baby girl!!! MY amnio results came back normal and the OB confirmed the sex...im so relieved and happy and will sleep so much better tonite knowing i dont need to worry

That's fantastic dreaminginoz I'm so glad she's healthy.

My DH felt our little lady kick for the first time this morning. So exciting, he had been asking if I was feeling any kicks but they hadn't been strong enough until this morning.

Anyone else feeling kicks on the outside yet?

My husband felt three kicks last Thursday... they were very tiny little quick kicks. We haven't felt anything else until this morning. I felt some very distinct movements on the outside. And of course, he wasn't at home to feel it. I can't wait for the big kicks so my boys can feel the baby. Right now I have to lay still and patiently wait for the kicks and boys just don't have that kind of patience.

So funny you guys mention kicks on the outside. Just last night I was thinking the kicks were enough to maybe be felt on the outside, but when I put my hand on the outside to see they stopped, of course.

My scan is on Monday!! I just know it's a boy, and am basically at peace with it, but still anxious. Ugh. I was on my work trip for the last 2 weeks, so it was nice to focus on something else for awhile... but now I am starting to let it creep up on me.

I am sure I'll spend a little time in the gender disappointment forum for a bit and then I will bounce back? xoxo

The 20 week scan is lovely Lizzie whatever the gender. Its so beautiful to see your little one on the screen. I think you still have a good chance at a girl, but if it is a boy 2 boys are so special. You can never understand the bond brothers have until you see it yourself. I am really glad I had 2 boys first otherwise I might have stopped at 2 and never had my gorgeous ds2. Also my boys have all girl cousins so far so Im really happy they have each other.

Can't wait until we hear, I think it will be Tuesday here by then.

Thanks, bythe******. I do think about how my Jack will have a little brother and the bond between them will be so lovely. My sister and I are so close that I know it is worth it in my heart.

It is so nice to see them on the screen... although my OB sends out the 12 week and 20 weeks scans to a specialist. He makes you drink a ton of water to make your bladder larger and then push the baby up so he can see it better. (Do any of your 20 week scans go like this?) He will reject you too if you haven't had enough water. At my 12 week he took one look and said go back and drink 3 more cups and wait 10 mins.

Anyway, I have to say it makes the scan so uncomfortable... I am usually ready for it to be over so I can hit the ladies room!

Haha yes lots of water here too. I got to relieve myself halfway through so we could get bub to roll over and get the rest of the measurements, so at least for half of it I wasn't busting.
