I was using colorpHast but then I switched to pHion because they're cheaper. Problem is, I think the colorpHast ones are easier to read. The pHions seem to barely change color (unless I'm really always very acidic, but I don't think so), and I'm never sure if I'm supposed to be comparing the top color or the bottom color!! Can anyone help?

Well, I would say penny wise, pound foolish LOL....I would return to using the ColorpHast and just them sparingly (I would also add that checking your pH obsessively is not good for your testosterone levels anyway and it's prob. best to check them only occasionally around ovulation.
With the pHion ones, there's almost an art to reading them, you kinda have to split the difference and I too wonder if they don't make you seem more acidic than you actually are.!!! Questions??
