My husband has worked from home for 15 months now, and I have gotten so spoiled having him at home every single day. Tomorrow, he's starting a new job and will be going back to working in an office. It's an 85 mile commute (that's about an hour and a half long drive to work), but it comes with a very large increase in salary. I am excited because it is a great opportunity for him and it'll be wonderful having the extra money, but I am so heart broken over not having him with me anymore. I feel like my hormones are making it that much harder to deal with too. I've cried so many times!! I know I'm going to probably just cry all day long tomorrow. And we're on summer break right now, so the three boys are all going to be incredibly sad when they wake up and realize Daddy is gone. These hormones are going to be the death of me, I swear! I'm getting upset just typing this right now.

I think I would go nuts if DH was with me all day!
I have been having tons of heartburn and my back has started to hurt. I use the Miracle Balls for Pregnancy and they really help. There is no hiding this pregnancy and many people mention that I look further than what I am...

Hey everyone, we are getting up there now, huh? I am getting big and starting to not sleep well and feel like a cow, etc. No heartburn yet, but the waddling is slowly starting
and maybe it's my age (37) but I am TIRED all the time. I got laid off from my job the other week (I had a big corporate job), which is a bummer, so a bit stressed trying to figure out what to do....just wait it out or try to do some freelancing or something. I'm sure I'm not big employment material with this belly. So I've been a SAHM for the last couple weeks and sleeping a lot! Trying to enjoy some nesting and doing stuff around the house.
By the way, ELP, I love your attitude! Always positive....

Lola!
I wondered where youve been! That is a bummer about the job, how are you financially because of it, ok? The freelance sounds a good idea! You can use the time you have at home now (when your not sleeping
) to get a little website set up maybe, then when the little fella gets old enough you ca launch it and start doing your own thing! Is your work doable from home or do you need to be in site for it?

Mob's I know exactly what you mean about others opinions about family size!, and it is such a shame that we let it get to us
I usually tell them that me and Dh are both from big families, plus my mum raised us Catholic, and as soon as you mention religion they know it could become sticky territory so they let it go lol! My absolute WORST thing! Is when we personally get blamed for global warming! You can guarantee that they have just come back from a foreign holiday, and have already booked the next one! We heat the same sized 3 bedroom house as every one else, in fact with all the body heat its warmer
aargh! I could go on
I dread the Health visitor ever asking to look at the bomb site up stairs lol! Especially if we dont manage to get the loft done this centuryWe had a friend of ours combine 2 toddler beds into toddler sized bunk beds! We looked online for something similar and the wanted £600!! Thats about $900 US , friggin shocking!
Mob's are you council or buying? Could you exchange? Hopefully there will be some more 3's coming available with the HB reduction if you council!
Its rubbish when their self employed isnt it;( We call it feast and famine livingOne week we're eating next week we're on the pasta again, which actually fitted perfectly with AS's info of HE/LE affect on gender lol! My DH is a roofer, so last summer when it just rained permanently he could get nothing done
But it did fill the books for people wanting things done for this year
Would you be able to have a boot sale stand each week? I have been trying lately to find reliable wholesalers to buy off of for ebay, I have been carefully looking into sites like alibaba and DHgate, I do not intend to buy anything until I am certain about them, so far Alibaba looks like a risky investment but DHgate looks simpler. In the meantime I found the poundstores wholesale site, which would be good to buy from if you could have a stall somewhere to shift it on. I have the problem of the LO's but I was thinking of maybe at a later date setting up a stall for my teenagers to run maybe, a extra income for them!
This has turned into an essay aswell lol!!

Hey sorry I've not been on line at all since my last post!
The problem when I had them all in the same room was that it left no where to put there toys. Even if they bring a couple of boxes of toys down to play with and don't take them up I'm tripping over them.
We are privately rented. Before we moved here (which was meant to be a 6 month stop gap so I didn't care what state it was in. Still here 6 years later) we were at DH parents. We have been on the council waiting list all this time but we have a secure tenancy so are deemed 'not in need of housing'. Someone did say surely we qualify as over crowded but they don't seem to think so and I expect they would just suggest we sleep down stairs like we do anyway.
When I was looking earlier in the year the rent on 3 beds in the village (thats my problem is I wont leave the village. I don't drive so I'd have to change their schools and I don't want to do that when they are happy and settled) were around £200 more a month, I was thinking we could maybe stretch to that if I cut back a little and DH said he'd put his rates up, his a gardener and doesn't charge nearly as much as others in the area do. But looking now they have gone up to 4-500 more a month. There is a light at the end of the tunnel as long as prices dont shoot up again. We have a loan with will be paid off in about 4 years which will help greatly, but its the waiting. And why DH said I'd have to wait 4-5 years for baby.
Peoples comments are annoying, especially the "wow you have your hands full" People do say things about needed a bigger house, and I say they will have to stick to their 'dorm' for now. I haven't told anyone that we have given up our room.Feb 2006

The next time someone tells me that I will have my hands full, I'm going to tell them I'd rather have them full than empty...
As far as room for us, we have 3 bedrooms and DH has one of those. He snores something awful and I can't sleep if we are in the same room. I have one and the 2 year old is in with me. The two oldest boys share a bedroom. Once the baby is here, he will cosleep with me and the 2 year old will still be in his crib in my room. Eventually though we'll have to change the garage into a bedroom...
It works...
