I'm hoping this has helped my sway!
I am a BIG sleeper, slept for 12 hours regularly prior to DS1, after DS1 I knew I wanted more children, took multivitamins to get my body back on track then waited until he was sleeping through before ttc again, DS2 arrived. This time I conceived within a year of DS2 being born, he has been a BAD sleeper, less than 6 hours consecutive sleep a night for months, hope it will help!DS12010

OMG, both our boys started sleeping through the night a couple of weeks ago and I was absolutely ecstatic! Bit of a bummer now actually, but I can't remember how I even coped at work, and my mood has improved dramatically, so am in two minds about this...
I love sleeping, so hopefully it doesn't sway too much

I think this no sleep has taken 5 years off my life and that's no joke.

Im so bitterly jealous of people and their sleep and when I hear people complaining that they are tired and don't have kids it just makes me sick .

No sleep doesn't bother me. I mean, I take caffeine like Its going out of style, have big bagged red eyes, and no energy but if it means my boy still needs me and all I have to do is feed him at night to ease him, that's okay with me. It will be a sad day when he sleeps through. Mama won't be needed as much. These moments I cherish because no matter what they never last. Wahhhh.

Becca you have a gorgeous family! My DS 2 is named Liam. This is off topic but do you breastfeed? I've tried drinking coffee to help with no sleep but it seems to make him gassy.

Thank you
Yes he's breastfed. Caffeine never bothered him. He has a pretty easy going tummy that way. I remember him only having gas once.
Apples are said to give off more energy than caffeine. I love my Red delicious. Maybe give that a go! But don't think you can eat the peels which I'm pretty sure is where the energy lies. So maybe after LE.DS #1 - 2010 Liam James

I also like waking up in the night with them - within reason!!
I have BF five and caffeine has never seemed to keep any of them awake. I haven't noticed gassiness from it either - the one thing that ever seemed to bother any of my kids were legumes - lentils, peas, and peanut butter.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
