Myrainbowgirl, exciting about the test and finding out so soon.

We should hopefully know in a little less than two weeks although I am still pretty positive that this will be another boy.

Sorry I have been so out of the loop....this cold knocked me down for sure. I have had an ubber rough week at work and it makes me count down the days till mat leave!

Sunflower....I am so excited and happy for you!! Not only do I pray that this bean is sticky....it better be pink and healthy!!!!

Happypixi.....8 weeks already!! Yay! How are you little men doing?

Gecon....I do think that it is good to be realistic about gender, but don't count yourself out yet. You might be our first pink in this group....and Myrainbowgirl...you are only days behind in finding out!!

Dream, Charlee and 3boys....how is it all treating you? I want to post a bump pic, but I am having body image issues. Even after the weight loss and such, this weight gain is hitting me as hard as not having a daughter out of this pregnancy. However, this little guy is bound to be a sweetie...that is my heart and soul speaking. What have you girls done in terms of getting ready for your new boys or done with your bigger boys in anticipation of a new dude joining the family?? My boy is still convinced that he is getting a sister...I have tried telling him the baby could be a boy or girl, but emphasizing boy at home as we are not telling gender to anyone.

After being told at 18 weeks, the prayed and swayed for "lady"bug is in my belly. Our Christmas gift comes with some health challenges, but I know that we are strong family and will celebrate her!

This time, it's more a seasick feeling. Ugh. BUT, I am not throwing up, and honestly, the nausea comes and goes. So it's not terrible. Hope you feel better soon! Do you have an appt. this week?
Thanks, I have a pretty strong stomach so I don't see myself up-chucking. I didn't enjoy doing a Caesarian on dog that had dead puppies and green goo oozing out of it on Thursday though! (I'm a vet nurse!)
I remember feeling a bit ikky with no.1 son, nothing with no.2.

I go back and forth wondering if ill find out the gender - I'd like to just enjoy being pregnant and keep the dream till the end, but then I imagine knowing if it was a girl and then it would be the most exciting pregnancy ever! If I find out, I think I'd like to keep it to myself, entirely, and adjust in private if its a boy. How I would do this I'm not sure - given my job, I could always just scan myself when I'm on night shift!

Wow with that possibilty there is no way i could be team green!

I am hoping to get a 20 week scan to find out but the normal french lady doc is away till i am 22 weeks. There is a vietnamese make doc at the clinic who i could go to but i would prefer a female. He is meant to be excellent though. I had bad experiences with french trained docs with jDS1 as they prefer the high intervention medicate wherever possible route. ideally i would like a Vietnamese lady I think i could also just see a tech who is there the whole time but it is always reassuring to see a doc. Decisions decisions.

Hi ladies... sorry I've been gone so long. I was in a horrific car crash on Friday night... my car rolled and ended up on its left side. My boys were in the car with me too Luckily by the grace of God, they walked away with hardly a scratch. Me, not so much... my left arm and shoulder ended up outside the car after the roll over while we dragged along so I have MAJOR road brash on my left arm and shoulder.. but other than that I'm fine! And the other greatest news (besides my 2 boys walking away unscathed) is that baby and pregnancy are totally fine too. They did an extensive u/s at the trauma unit of the hospital after the crash and the placenta is still firmly attached and cervix is fully closed.... and baby is totally unharmed! It is truly a miracle... the police officer who dealt with the accident said "you must have had a guardian angel on your side because no one walks away from a crash like this"... WOW.

Sorry for the lack of personals, as you can imagine I'm super sore and very shaken up... just wanted to stop by and update everyone ... I'll be back soon with a more upbeat attitude and chat with everyone...

    Take care of yourselves!

My twenty week scan date hasn't come through yet which I'm pretty bummed about. I go on holiday in three weeks so Sod's law it will be then! I wonder if his willy would have magically turned into a Minnie?! Lol...... I think I have more chance of winning the lottery.

Thanks 3boys... yes I'm totally shaken in a way I never really have been. I've lost babies, family members, deal with trauma and sadness on a daily basis as a counselor but I've never quite felt this way. I am shaken to the core.

I'm not a religious person but this whole experience has changed me... there must have been a higher power looking over my boys and I that night. It takes something pretty major to change your belief system...
