    Milk drinkers?

Who is drinking milk as part of their sway? How much are you hsving a day? I am not having any now mostly because I think it's a waste of my protein intake and I want to use it to eat more filling food like pasta. I am having a yogurt and taking a calcium supplement.

I am nursing a 16mth old... no milk at all. I am taking calcium pills and whatever calcium is in the foods I eat, including roasted sesame seeds (mixed with 1-2 tbsps of fat-free greek yogurt) to flavor salads or fruit. I may have ice cream 1-2x's a week.

I drink three cups of skim a day. I am nursing a 23 month old. I love milk!

I didn't take it that way... I would drink milk if I liked it that much but I love to save the cals and stuff for meals. I drink coffee, crystal light, and soda through out the day to hold off from eating. I drank a lot of dairy while nursing DS1 and he is allergic to dairy now so I choice to limited dairy as much as possible with all/any future nursing babes. If I wasn't nursing I would probably drink milk every 1-2 hours and then eat 1 meal a day and nothing else.

Interesting, I'm really wondering if I should be having 1 glass a day. What do you guys think? Or do you think the supplements should cover my calcium. I am so indecisive!!!!!
