12+0 nub shot boy or girl?

I guessed girl before even reading that is what you wanted. I am still relatively new to nub guessing. Can someone please explain to me what the forked shape is/means?

Apparently nubs are 92% accurate at 12 weeks (98% at 13+)... Getting slightly hopeful!!!

That was the study where they couldnt determine sex in 10% of the cases - which i think is pretty impressive. I think some of the 8% they got wrong at 12 weeks might have been close calls. Yours is text book. I think it is healthy to keep some doubt in your mind but am super excited. The only way this is a boy is if it is a late riser which is quite rare I think. Whoop whoop.

Thanks Em, I think some part of me just can't believe it could be true, until I see it at a later scan. But this has perked me up so much, even to be in with a chance after thinking it was blue for a whole week.

The late rise is my nightmare. Fx it stays down! Dh is blissfully confident (possibly naively confident) that his very limited introduction to nub theory has meant he just KNOWS its a girl. Am trying to keep him grounded!
