vitex question

I have regular cycles(28) days. Do i get AF when taking vitex every day (800mg) ?? Like to hear expieriences from woman with regular cycles who tool it evert day..what does it do with your cycles ?

I took vitex Cd1-cd14 - currently cd 36 and waiting for AF . I normally have 28/29 day cycles however this was my first month off bcp so not sure which is the reason .
Will be watching for replies .

I think It effects everyone different. My cycles were long. 35 days. Now 28 on the dot thanks to Vitex.

I read if you have a perfect 28 dayish cycle not to take it.

Vitex ruined my cycle! Can't take it!! I think it is one of them things you just have to wait and see!! I just continued to spott. My af was a week early but my O seemed to stay the same. I didn't give it enough time to settle down with me I was to scared to the spotting freaked me out!

Rainbow baby - can I ask, do you mean that you kept spotting after your got AF and it should have been finished? This is my first month taking vitex and I asked Atomic this same question yesterday (through my sway plan) and she said she hadn't heard of this.

I normally have 5-7 days of AF, but I am on day 12 and still spotting!! I was wondering if it was the vitex or aspartame or something else. If you have had something similar I would love to hear your experience as the spotting is freaking me out too! I may end up stopping the vitex.

I think the tricky part with messing with your cycle is trying to pinpoint O and then 1 attempt. Just my experience, Cd37 now so I'm thinking I won't take it next month - whenever that is (going slightly crazy waiting for Af .

Everyone reacts differently so you can only really try and see how you go . Hope it works well for yoy

Why the spotting? Did u take high dose?

You're not supposed to take it every day of your cycle, only up to 1 or 2 days before expected O. It can delay O if you take it every day of your cycle.
