Huds and Rainbow-How do you hide the bump? I am 18 weeks and I totally have a baby bump. Not oh you've eaten to much bump but a wow your preggers bump! You guys must be tiny!

rainbow-my scan is Tuesday, August 27th at 10:30am! It's 11 days from now! I also have a wedding that we are leaving for on wednesday so i am wondering if i should wait until i get back that following monday September 2 to open the envelope. I am not really overly anxious to find out bc I am sure it will be DS3. I'm super nervous about my reaction and disappointment but also that everyone will be feeling disappointed as well. Ugh...my DH wants to find out Tuesday night over dinner with the two of us but I am nervous and don't want to be down for the wedding. Decisions decisions! I wish I wasn't so nervous but honestly I am. I haven't really given this scan much thought bc it's always been weeks away but now it's getting to the countdown and the pressure is setting in. We told family and friends including our parents we weren't finding out until the 2nd week of September so even if I wait till September 2 I will have 9 days to get myself together before announcing it to everyone. What would you do?

Oh noooo my belly is there. People know important pregnant but don't know what important having. I look at my app and it shows u what size baby is and belly. My belly doesn't look like the pictures, i look lot bigger esp after dinner. i guess its a lot of fat lol!

Huds-ok that makes me feel a little better! :-) I thought you were still not showing I was going to be super jealous! I am so large. This 3rd baby has really made their presence known!

Ok so just as I was writing to you guys about being worried about this baby being DS3 I was putting DS1 down for a nap and he said "mom are you going to sleep up here on the couch again for nap time?" I said "yes" he said "ok can you not do that because your snore is really loud and woke me up yesterday. It sounds like honk shoe honk shoe! Can you go sleep downstairs instead please that way I won't hear you!" I just started dying laughing! I am still laughing as I write this! Ahhh I love my boys! They give it straight and most of the time it's hilarious! LOL!

Em, so glad you got an appt! Well done! It's Monday right? That's probably Tuesday my time I think. So glad!

Ps ladies my belly is giant at 14 weeks I couldn't hide it now, no idea how women hide it til later!!! Plus I usually look grey from sickness so it's obvious right away. This time I didn't get sick but showed super early, like 7-8 weeks!! Probably because LE left me with 0 body fat to hide it, and probably because I seemed to stack weight on straight away when I stopped the diet.

I just read at 14 weeks your uterus is supposed to be JUST above your pubic bone. Mine is at my belly button and ENDS before my pubic bone, I can feel the whole thing. Is that normal?

Mine is just under my boobs & I can't see where it ends,..LOL.
I guess 3 HUGE boys delivered via c-section helped me develop this belly sooner...LOL.

Lol yes my boys were huge too, and I don't know if caesarians make a difference but I have had two! Wish I could manage natural birth, my friends that have them recover so fast!

Okay...
I want to call & get my Maternit21 gender results...but I read some posts on Babycenter that had incorrect results for gender.
I'm so afraid that if they tell me this is a girl, I'll believe it & get my hopes up & be crushed if it's wrong.
Ugh...I hate this. I don't know what to do!!!
