Need some info for dh and myself 39 years old

When I found this site I asked a question as far as FR for DH and Atomic had given me a suggestion because our age puts us at greater risk for having a hard time to conceive and my husband is a kidney transplant recipient. According to Atomic, she told me to have DH FR every 4 to 5 days through my cycle. However, I recently found out DH already does FR on a pretty much daily basis once per day. I knew he did it often but I didnt realize how much. Lol. So knowing this..that he does that so frequent, and our age, can anyone tell me if this is a bad thing that he does this so frequent? At our age, will it affect our fertilit? And if so, does it impact it greatly or not so much. I realy havent started trying to get preggo yet. I think i caught the taile end of my ovulation last month. However, this month i plan on taking ovulation kit. Also, i really want to get preggo this month so how can i increase my chances without making it a boy sway? Also, is it ok to do a compressed FR if I tell him not to do FR ona regular basis. I only ask all of these questions bc of our age. Thanks so much!

My DH sounds like yours... I just told home to keep it up, not skipping any days (he told me that wouldn't be a problem), and then just DTD in my fertile window. We got pregnant the first month and had a chemical, and then got pregnant the second month, and I am almost 12 weeks. I don't think it will necessarily impact your fertility, but everyone is different. Because of our ages (36&37) I wanted to get pregnant quickly, so I skipped rephresh, douching and all of that. We used Sylk because LE made me dry as a desert and it helps lower their count a little more.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the info. Good luck with your pregnancy and hope you are feeling well and you get the gender you want. I think it's too early in your pregnancy to know the gender, correct?

Umm, not really sure about this b/c my husband at the time when we conceived my son, we were both 36. So needless to say, I'm not too sure and we did have a fertility problem (myself being on a medication which caused my body to think it was pregnant..strange!). The month I stopped my medication, we got pregnant right away when I got a positive OPK. So I wish I could tell you age sways girl but after conceiving my son, I'm not really sure.
