I personally didn't find induction anymore painful... It was def less painful then my labour with ds2 so I'm sure it will do just fine for you even if u are induced

Wag i hope your right
Sorry to hear your having neighbor trouble again too, shes a right piece of work.
This time i'm hoping for an all natural birth again with no pain relief. I'm also hoping to give birth on all fours instead of lying on my back as its meant to reduce tearing.
DS1 i had gas and air for all of 5 mins but it made me feel sick so i threw it on the floor.
DS2 i had paracetamol, not that they did anything really but when it came to the stitches afterward i had gas and air, yuck.Love my boys lots and lots 20092011

You ladies are so kind because I still feel pretty flabby.. maybe that pic was from a flattering angle or something lol. It will probably be another few months before I can button my old jeans again without a rubber band
Mum23, I'm curious what kind of work you do? You mentioned seeing a lot of preemies and you seem to know a lot about pregnancy complications! Are you a nurse?
DLTAG those sound like promising signs that she has flipped! Hope you get good news at your appt next week.
Fish, you poor thing you've had a lot of worry this pregnancy so hopefully you will have a smooth delivery without the complications your OB is concerned about.
WAG, with your history I can completely understand why you're worried how this delivery will go! For me personally the epidural has been my life saver. I've never had mine turned off for delivery, in fact I can handle the contractions pretty well but the pushing is what I want the epi for.
DS1 was a horrible 16+ hour labor with nothing for pain (my OB was a complete idiot and wouldn't give me anything even though I was begging... long story) Ended up with 3rd degree tearing and sorry for TMI but I was stitched up like a star down there.
DS2 was a quick 5 hour labor, got the epidural for the last hour and required no stitches.
DS3 was a 7 hour labor again with the epi but got it a bit earlier and again no stitches.
DS4 was my fastest at 4 hours with an epidural towards the end and no stitches.
I might add that the epidurals didn't affect my pushing at all. My babies were all delivered with 2 to 3 pushes epi or not.

Have you had a cervical check yet fish?

Wag Midwife did a sweep on Wednesday, 1cm dilated, cervix soften to 2cm head very low, waters breakable! Not quiet as far along as you but as I had the boys at 40+ I feel quiet positive that induction shouldn't be too awful?!?

Are you going to try and induce by just getting waters broken like me?

Yeah wag that's my hope the clinic midwife asked me about my previous labours and she felt just breaking my waters should do it,
