Soar - Why didn't your mom call a little more ahead of time? I mean, you're pregnant and you've got little ones already! Don't feel badly AT ALL. Yes, just go see grandma tomorrow to show your support. Maybe you could unpack a few boxes just to show you are willing.
Beadin - I am taking Concept DHA. It's ok. Tastes weird, but not making me sick. I had a few other samples that I tried, and like better, but my doc had already written my prescription for Concept, since I took those with DS3. Anyway, it's not giant, and the vitamin and DHA are in one capsule. So that's a plus!
Waiting4Daisy - Yes, so fun to share joy when babies arrive. How long will you wait after DC4 to have another? I remember you saying you were pretty young.
AFM - Warming up to the idea of IVF/PGD. Sounds like the best bet for my age. Also pondering another sway, but I am super worried that DH's sperm might be the culprit. I know all men make 50/50 sperm, but Atomic's essay on it said that doesn't mean that certain men don't have biological/environmental factors that make their x or y sperm super healthy or unhealthy, etc. Ugh. Wish I could be confident that his sperm aren't an issue! If I wasn't concerned, I think I'd rather risk another boy than spend all that money. Definitely no need to stress about it right now, that's for sure. I may pm Atomic for some advice.

Rainbow-in regards to IVF I have 2 friends who have used IVF both have b/g twins! One was AMA (I believe 40) and the other was mid 30's. Anyway there is definitely happy endings going that route and their children are adorable of course! Now I don't know how many tries it took they both had children naturally before the IVF but they have always been upfront about their journey and always say what a blessing it was. So it couldn't have been so bad. Of course $$$ but in the end they won the prize! Hope that helps a little.
AFM-tried to call mom but she didn't answer! Ugh her silent treatment is no joke! :-) I'll take her a cake tomorrow as a piece offering! :-) Sent her a text and told her to rest tonight and tomorrow and that i can't imagine how tired she must be! Hopefully that will smooth things over a bit. Can't fault a girl for trying, right?(2009)

Soar I can't understand how your mum is so annoyed at you, when you are pregnant with small children, so couldn't have helped much anyway, THEY changed the plans and didn't tell you, and sure you could have called to check but how were you to know? And you are busy too! She could have called you before the morning of the move and given you adequate notice. And now you are doing all the right things trying to make piece. I actually would be a bit annoyed at her if I were you!! Definitely go see your grandma on your own anyway, and wait for your mum to calm down a bit. I can imagine its a stressful time for her, but it takes two to tango, if she wanted your help and presence so badly, she could have organised things earlier rather than calling you every 5 mins on the morning of the move. I OFTEN don't see my phone with kids around, and accidentally leave it on silent etc. I can see how you would miss a few calls for sure!
Sorry everyone, we've been away at the in-laws for the weekend and I didn't get online much at all. Nightmare weekend with the kids, both wouldn't sleep and woke constantly and ds2 chose that time to get his 2y/o molar teeth, and of course I had no panadol or neurophen with me and he didn't show any distress until 1am. Sigh! SO SO TIRED. 2 nights of waking every 1-2hrs has me scared for a newborn, lol!!DS1 2009, DS2 2011.

Aw Beadin, that is no fun. I don't really like those big prenatals. I think they are a bit unnecessary. I take floradix which covers a lot and has iron which I tend to be low in, probiotics for my tummy trouble and a tiny tablet which is folic acid and vitamin d (they were free here in Scotland where the sun doesn't shine enough lol). The floradix has about half the pregnancy dose of folic acid anyway but I don't like to risk it. The floradix are smooth shell like and about a tiny bit bigger than a smartie sweet if you have them over there.
Rainbow I just know you are going to get your daughter! If we go again, I'd maybe like 6 but dunno about dh. I think I'd prob leave it about two years. There is about a year and a half between ds2 and 3 and it felt a more difficult age gap than I've heard smaller or larger gaps. I used to say none after I'm 30 but think it'll be none after I'm 32! 11 years of baby making is enough for me! My dh is 5 years older so that's a consideration too. Though we are both healthy and fit, and I regularly get mistaken for a teenager (which had its disadvantages working in a high school). I wonder if you could get hubby's sperm analysed and find out what he is making?

What a pain Soar! Beadin is right your Mum is probably just letting off steam. Keep being nice and do not take the bait - you haven't done anything wrong so you do not need to feel bad. If you do not make the effort your Mum will remember that not how unreasonable she was!

Soar...enjoy the visit with your grandma today. It is totally wild that anyone would think that your family should be doing the lion's share of the moving....little kids and preggo gets one off the hook!! Hope that your mom realizes this and treats you better today.
Beadin'....prenatals...hmm, I am just on folic acid after the last m/c last fall. My iron levels were crazy high, even after weeks of bleeding, so I take my folic acid and Vit D. I think that the comments you have fielded about your sweet surprise should be left in people's head...or talked about behind your backAs in...you should only hear how awesome another little one will be!!!!!
Meeks....what a weekend for you!!! Ds2 is just getting you warmed up for the new one!
Rainbowgirl....we had talked about HT, in particular IVF with PGD, after we found out DS2 was a boy, but then about a year ago, decided that we would be ok with a third boy. I have to say that it is only money....go for it and get your little rainbow (or two!!!)!!!!!!!
Waiting for Daisy...we were team green for our first...and it was pleasant in that I really did not give gender much thought. But I think that is more about first babies rather than being team green. It was cool to be in the delivery room and hear my hubby call out is was a boy!!!
AFM...I have been just waiting for the prenatal visit on Tuesday, baby is moving tonnes....loves the early am to boot me out of bed!! I am trying my best to just enjoy this pregnancy and not focus on the 3% right now...that bridge is to be crossed when she arrives.'06'06

Ladybugs I hope either way I can just be thrilled in that moment with my sweet baby. It sounds like a magical moment, just holding your baby and not caring about gender.
Beadin I have been sick today too. I can now virtually not travel by car, even a tiny distance. I am 15 weeks and I never had anything but mild queasiness with my other pregnancies and this time has been horrific. My only saving grace is I was on holiday from work when I was most sick. I also have issues with my blood sugar which gets pretty low at times and have stocked up on crackers and lucozade to try and combat that (why I'm amazed low blood sugar sways girl when mine is constantly dropping and I have three boys lol).
Soar hope mum comes round and apologises. You are pregnant and she should appreciate you have a lot on your mind.

Ladies, need to share. All day today I have just been feeling so gross and down about how large I am already. This is my 2nd and my tummy is completely flat when I wake up in the morning, but as soon as I eat anything I swear it looks like I am 25 weeks pregnant. Part of the issue is that I was 15 lbs heavier when I conceived this one than when we conceived DD (thanks HE diet
), but I am seriously so grossed out with myself. I weighed myself today and already weigh 172. I was 183 the day I gave birth to my daughter
and I am only 13.5 weeks. I gained 35 lbs when pregnant with her. I have an athletic build...played college soccer...but seriously I just look big and fat and gross. Sigh. Is anyone else feeling this way or have felt this way? I am really struggling with this. SO SORRY for the vent!

Onthepond-(((hugs))) yes I feel like this all the time! We go thru so much when we are pregnant heartburn, worry, m/s, and weight gain, stretch marks.....the list goes on! I promise everyone sees your glow and doesn't see what you are seeing. We were actually just talking about this today at church. We feel so badly during pregnancy but yet we are doing the most amazing thing and making a person!!!! It's crazy really! I feel like I'm trapped in someone else's body while pregnant. Don't worry your athletic build will come back you will be yourself again, we all will!
