Hi everyone,
had my 12 week scan last Monday, all seems fine with the baby. I tried to look out for a nub and at first it looked flat and then at the end it seemed angled. I would appreciate any nub guesses (link at bottom).
I didn't realise how much I would nob obsess, maybe because I expected to see a boy nub but haven't. I've already booked a private gender scan for the 16th September so I will be 16 weeks and then have my 20 week scan on the 10th October.
Congratulations to all the new ones. Anyone else got any 12 week scans coming up??

Congratulations and welcome!
OMG, I'm eating so much at the momentI've put on 4lb so far, which is loads for me and I'm so disappointed. I have no energy to get to the gym. I've got a huge tummy already too, so not really going to be able to hide this just because of the extra weight I've put on.

Thought I'd share it here, as in my babycentre birthgroup are mainly neurotic new mums who'd panic if they didn't get the same result! But, at 8+2 I've found the baby's heartbeat on my doppler! Took a while and lots of strange angles, but its definitely there. I'm just hoping there's just the one!

Welcome crazylady
Lovely isn't shutter bug, I've been hearing the baby's heartbeat since 9 weeks. It seems to have settled at around 160/168bpm so I'm hoping it stays that fast. XPlease have a go at guessing my nub http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ultr...ing-guess.html

I'm using a sonoline B Doppler. I wouldn't recommend them if would worry. I knew that it may be too early when I tried at 9 weeks but found it pretty quickly. X

How easy is it to find? Do most people find them easily or if they cant find it is it bad news?
Got my first midwife appt on wednesday, she said shes not actually gonna book me in til 10 weeks but at least the appointment will be done, i think this is due to the previous mc's but im hoping it wont delay my scan. It means i wont get my letter for another 4/5 weeks too!! Now im back thinking of a private one ... Haha!!
Congrats to the new bfps's, heres hoping for lots more!!

Some people can find it easier but others not. My sister found it for me but it took me a couple more days to find it. It's very low down right near the pubic bone and you need to stay in the same spot but try different angles and if not luck then move over ever so slightly and try again.
I've been able to hear all the other noises since about 5 weeks pregnant as well so even if you can't find a heartbeat there are other pregnancy relayed sounds for reassurance.
I got my scan letter through 2 days after seeing my midwife, hopefully yours has a quick turn over too xPlease have a go at guessing my nub http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ultr...ing-guess.html
