Well I had my scan. The baby had a heartbeat of 192bpm! So I was in total shock to see his heartbeat. He was measuring 9w 3d. However, they did find a Subchorionic Hematoma between the baby and the placenta. My doctor explained it to me and said they would put me on progesterone and baby aspirin daily to hopefully get rid of it. She said that there are risks of the placenta completely detaching or a clot coming lose and crossing the umbilical cord. So I have a 50/50 chance of continuing this pregnancy. I'm slightly relieved, but still worried. I have another ultrasound in 3 weeks to see how things are going.

Sorry sugar..... I hope you continue to process this loss in a positive way.
Kitty, good luck love. Does knowing what you are dealing with and having a plan help you to feel better??
Afm, 5+4, still no nausea. Still feels a little bit to easy after my last two. Trying to stay positive. Wondering if no nausea is more of a boy sign?? Dunno. Hpt, still getting darker when I tested a few days ago. Will wait and see.DD in 2009

Hate to complain...I really am grateful to be pregnant, but this pregnancy has been so uncomfortable so far. I'm having sharp pains in my breasts (keeping me up at night right now) it could also be a side effect from the progesterone supps, I don't know. I'm also nauseous all the time. Saltines usually help but they didnt tonight. How is everyone else feeling?

Sugar- I am so soo sorry for your loss. >hugs<
Kitty- I am glad to hear everything is okay and baby is doing good.
7 weeks today. No morning sickness. Quite the opposite actually. I haven't been able to stop eating. I actually feel faint if I don't eat something every 30 minutes and I am eating full meals and snacks. Don't get me wrong I love to eat, I am getting tired of eating something and having to go and eat again because I' still not full. I have been trying to eat higher calorie meals and snacks and that does seem to be helping a bit so I'm not having to eat as often. I'm also very, very tired. I'm usually tired to begin with chasing two girls around all day and I have really bad problems falling asleep at night but I have way more tired than usual. The other day I actually fell asleep sitting up on my couch watching a movie with my girls. 5 1/2 more weeks till I go to the dr. Hope everyone else is doing good.Aug 2009

Sorry I've been a bit AWOL I've been feeling like crap, constant nausea and lots of puking, not very fun at all. Hoping it fades out faster as it started at 5 weeks and the thought of it lasting past 12 weeks is horrifying!!!
Really sorry to hear your sad news sugar spice, I can't imagine how you must be feeling but I hope you find peace and for what it's worth I'm sending you lots of love and prayers xxxx
How scary kitty, I really hope that it's good news for you and these 3 weeks pass quickly for you.
On the plus side I had a scan on Wednesday and everything looked good, baby measured up exactly with my dates at 7+4 and had a strong heartbeat (they wouldn't tell me the bpm but never mind) so I feel slightly better now. Going to book in with midwife on Monday. The dating scan seems forever away but then this nausea is making every day feel like forever!
Cant stop wondering about the sex. It's so silly isn't it, half of us want boys, half want girls, so why can't we just choose so everyone is happy , it would be so much fairer!!

I feel so bad, I haven't been reading these posts like I should. I'm so sorry, Sugar for your loss. I hope you are doing okay.
Bella, I do feel somewhat relieved knowing what I do. I researched it a lot and it has made me feel a bit better. I'm still a bit nervous though.
Thanks everyone for the positive thoughts! I'm hoping these next few weeks go by quick and I get some good news.2009
