Aww Dazie...I am so sorry. I spotted for all of my kids, except this one...I knew I had been low in progesterone for the others, so rather than wait, I went ahead and started the progesterone on my own. I knew it wouldn't hurt, but could definitely help...and since I had had a chemical the month before, I was going for it.
I hope the answer is as simple as that for you...XO

I'm glad you've got an appointment. I hope he doesn't fob you off like my drs did when I had two chemicals. When I phoned them up the first time asking about having bloods done, they said if I had a positive test, then that was it, I was pregnant, they'd never heard of a chemical pregnancy! Wallies!

I am so sorry you're dealing with this. If you really think its the lining, maybe you could try adding baby Aspirin? My fertility specialist told me my lining was thin, but then refused to do anything about it.. so my regular OB put me on Estrogen to build my lining after my chemical in April. The fertility specialist did give me a script for progesterone though...so I had it on hand after I got my BFP in May.
Im not sure the over the counter creams are strong enough to do anything, but it may be worth a try. You put it on different body parts like twice a day, I think...you'd have to read the label on the individual containers.
I wish the capsules weren't by script...I would send you what I have left.
If I were you, I would demand blood work...ask for the nurse, tell her your other doctor (lol) said they thought your progesterone was low & that you should call & request blood work right away. LOL...worth a try.

So sorry Dazie I would really ask your dr to test your progesterone. After my MMC I just knew something was wrong so I kept insisting. Once they tested and saw I was low, they kept an eye on it. Once I got my BFP it dropped from a 14.2 to 7.1 in 3 days...I started the progesterone then and am now 10 weeks - have seen baby 3 times on ultrasound now with great size and heartbeat. I really think it helped me. I wish you the best of luck - take care of yourself and know I'm thinking of you.

Oh no Daizy, I'm so sorry! Maybe you should see a reproductive endocrinologist, skip right to the specialist and don't bother with midwives or doctors who will brush you off.

Soo sorry. I know what you mean, i had a chemical in October and the doc was so upbeat about it being early on and not affecting my cycle that i thought i must have misunderstood him (I was living in Spain at the time) and asked if the pregnancy was still viable. he laughed and said no, but try again next month.

I dont have any practical advice about progesterone or linings etc. just wanted to commiserate. Hugs.

My progesterone was low and I MC twice, I researched Macca and took it 2 months before and all through early pregnancy. Its a root vegetable that helps fertility and boosts milk supply. Not sure about how it would effect sway, I had a gorgeous boy, healthy 4.3 kg!! It couldn't do any harm to anyone. I know the pain and frustration, I have been pregnant 5 Times yet only carried 2 to term. Trust your instincts and dont count on modern doctors 100%. Lots of baby dust xx
