Thanks for that date article. I will be eating those as well. I have nothing really yet. It's seems like 43 days is still so far away! 6 weeks tomorrow.

Girls!! Sorry I have been MIA. Missing you all.
We went on your "big fancy holiday" as my husband called it. haha Instead of going up north (6 hour drive) we decided just to go to north san diego (~ 2 hour drive). It's not as long as you zem, but I was fine. Actually, my husband stopped to use the rest room and I didn't? haha. We had fun, but back to the grind now.
I need to wash her clothes. I have my 35 week ultrasound on Wed and I figure after that it's a go! I did already buy some new bedding (well, my friend bought it for me because she gets an employee discount at land of nod) so that is coming!
Work has been crazy and I am just trying to hang on till the end. I am at home so not the same as being in an office, but I usually am not that busy so funny how that works out. bythe******, hope you are enjoying your holiday and maternity leave.
I had not heard about dates. I actually just bought some to make a dessert, but didn't have the rest of ingredients. I'll have to get on that. Last time I drank raspberry tea, but like 5 days before. I didn't think about starting in on it all sooner! The thought of her coming early scares me... still so much to do!
xoxo

I'm loving maternity leave and the holiday was good except I was still recovering from the flu. I'm still coughing now, it was a horrible one. I feel kind of bad not giving much sympathy to my dh. The day before we left I was having trouble breathing, I was so worried but I think it was just the baby being high and a blocked nose and a bit of anxiety thrown in. I went to the dr and my chest was clear and my stats good, feeling heaps better now just lacking energy and motivation. I really need to get things organised.
The plane trip over on our holiday wasn't the best, I had the kids on the plane by myself as my dh took our car on the boat (I knew I'd get seasick) it's only a very short flight (less than an hour usually) but they'd had gale force winds all morning. It was a pretty bumpy ride, the boys were so good ds 1 loved it he was yelling this is so awesome, ds 2 went green said "I need to vomit" vomited into the bag then went to sleep. It was quite adorable if not a bit gross and pretty mature for a 2 and half year old, no crying at all. Luckily the rest of the trip and the ride back went much better.
So I woke up with a bit of an upset tummy, I'm pretty sure bub moved a fair bit in the night as things just feel different. I'm not sure if she's moved to a better position or not. I wasn't sure if the tummy upset is from that our starting days yesterday.Last edited by bythestream; October 7th, 2013 at 08:14 PM.

Bythe******!! That sounds terrible! I am so sorry you were so sick. Meant to mention that. (I do that all the time, get on my hubby/DS for being sick babies and then I catch and think... oh, this is bad.) Although the difference with us ladies is we continue on and the world doesn't stop because we are sick.
The breathing thing is scary. I have felt like I can't breathe sometimes and it is so scary. Glad you went and had it all checked out. I sure it was the perfect storm with the flu and pregnancy.
The airplane ride sounds awful. I just to fly all the time for my job. I hate turbulence. It is like my dirty secret. I try to play it cool, but actually I am freaking on the inside.Sounds like you all handled it well. I get sea sick too... not sure I would take a bumpy plane ride or a boat tho. The throwing up and going to sleep is darling. He did so well.
Did you camp? Was that what I remember? My sister in law organized a 1 night camping trip this weekend close to here. I said I am out. I can barely get comfy in my bed. It's my rib cage! It's so painful. I must be carrying her higher than my son. I never had this before. All night it hurts to lay on my side and I have to lay on my side and then my rib cage is expanding.
Anyway, DH taking DS camping. I was excited about a night off, but then remembered my friend asked if her 13 year old son could stay with us that night as they are going out of town. Not like I had big plans anyway. She says he will just play on his computer and leave me alone. I am just excited about watching what I want on TV and maybe taking a bath. Exciting times!!

Had my 33 week visit today. Baby sounds good. I am measuring 34 weeks. So went from 2 weeks behind last time, to 1 week ahead lol. Make up your mind baby. Also didn't gain any weight. So I am still at the 18 pounds. Don't remember that happening before, I think I always at least gained a pound or 2....hmm. We have my MIL going to be here tomorrow night, I need to clean house today and tomorrow. Have I even started...no... LOL Hopefully I can get motivated later or get everything done tomorrow....

My MIL is coming today too Zem. I haven't put any wrought on in the last month or so either, I think it's normal to slow weight gain in the last trimester. I'm off to the midwife tomorrow. I think the fundal measurement can change depending on how the baby is positioned, do they think she's still breech Zem?
