First, let me start out by saying that I've been pregnant be4 & NEVER felt this sickim
Nauseous all day every day, morning, noon, & night. I throw up once a day & when there's nothing left in my body I'm dry heaving. I can't go anywhere cuz I'm nauseous & vomiting. I have plastic bags with me @ all times, I can't cook 4 my family cuz I can't stand the smell, I'm sick of feeling this sick. I read about the preggie pops & was wondering if anyone can tell me if they work? Does it ease the nausea & the disgusting taste I have in my mouth? Can someone who's used them tell me their experience please? Also, I told my dr about how I'm nauseous & vomiting {praying he would prescribe pills} instead I get the "it's normal sentence" {sigh}

I never tried the preggie pops but I swore by Jolly Ranchers and Lemon Drops. My first pg was pretty much exactly what you described but with my other ones, I discovered that if I sucked on really sour candy, it made the nausea a lot more easy to deal with.

Try a different doctor! If you're as sick as your describing - you're in a really bad way!
I was prescribed Maxalon (Australia) for my first 2 pregnancies. I still felt a little nauseous but was able to face work (1st pregnancy) and care for my toddler during my 2nd pregnancy.
My OB told me to go off my prenatals until I felt better... The iron was contributing to my nausea. I took Fefol instead, which is a gentler iron supplement.
I never tried eating more protein but I've read on these forums it can really help.
Good luck. I feel sick thinking about how sick you're feeling! I don't miss it at all!! :-)DS1 -

Oh! As far as preggie pops and jolly ranchers... I've only heard of these mystical goodies from lands afar! ;-) They sound yum - I'd just eat them, sick or not!
Fingers crossed this is your lil girl onboard!DS1 -

I was very sick with my boys. Yes jolly ranchers, sour altoids, wintergreen lifesaver. I also had to go on zofran. It took the edge off but was still very nauseous. I'm sorry it's horrible.

I love the preggie pop drops... they do help me... I don't know if it's all in my head or not, but hey if it works! I don't like the actual lollipop ones - they don't taste good to me. But the drops are good. I may try jolly ranchers... I haven't them in sooo long but they are good.
