Maybe she is! She was saying that she was thinking she was a 5!

I don't know, don't think she will decide to show on her own... I guess we will see what tomorrow brings.

I had asked my DH to check me once lol, he didn't want anything to do with that. I am having a hard enough time convincing him he should help shave me! lol I can't see that area to save my life!

Also is it common to lose weight towards the end of pregnancy? I can't remember, but I have lost 3 pounds this last week. The Dr. didn't seem concerned about it, but maybe its because we decided to induce anyways.
Mom of 5, DD , DS1 ,DS2 , DS3 and surprise DD 2 . Baby number 5 sure was meant to be here, she was born after I had a tubal ligation after baby 4 was born! We are so happy to have her join us, done having kids now (hopefully my body now agrees)!!

I wanted mine to shave me too. He said he would, but never did. I did my best down there the night before. He said it looked "patchy".

Yes, I think it is common to lose weight. Remember I lost 2 lbs and hugged the nurse I was so excited?! ha. You packed for the hospital? I remember every time I called anyone they would get all excited. I would call my mom and if she didn't answer I would text her saying... I am NOT in labor. I did enjoy that when I called my DH he would answer on the first ring and ask if I was ok. I could get used to that. Usually I have trouble reaching him at work. His cell phone is spotty and he is in multiple labs all day, but funny when I was due in a week I managed to get through to him.

You don't think she will come on her own? My OB says they don't like it when you give them an eviction date. ha. But, mine did not come on her own.

I am thinking BTS is in labor. If she doesn't surface tomorrow it has to be that. I hope everything is going well, BTS!! Thinking of you! Hope to hear from you soon!

Wow BTS I am so excited for you!!! What a nice weight. Hopefully I get a fast labor tomorrow also! lol. In the US we would say the date 11/21/13. Excited to see pictures of her! Hope you are recovering good.

Lizzie how is your little one? How are you recovering?

So am I the last one left now? Hopefully some other ladies start to pop in to tell birth stories, I always love to read and see pictures of the new little ones!

I am excited and nerves for tomorrow! Wonder how big this little girl will be.

Bythe******!! YAY! She is here. So excited for you guys. Yes, post pictures as soon as you can. Dying to see her. I just knew you had been in labor. I freaking LOVE that name. Maisy was on my list too!! And Maisy Florence??? STOP. It's precious.

Zem, we are doing well. She actually slept pretty good last night. She sleeps almost all day in her bassinet. So so so different from my son. I hope your girls are all mellow too. (I know she won't stay this way forever, but just already different from my son.)

Eeeeeekkkk!!! Zem, you are next!! Don't be nervous- this is your 5th time. Couldn't you just skip the hospital and do this one yourself?? haha. BTS, did you get an epidural? That was a fast labor. Zem, will you get one?

I will be thinking about you tomorrow Zem. Yours is going to go so fast! So happy for you bythe******.

Not to be a naggy nelly but I did want to let you guys know that it's prob. best not to shave right before labor, I understand the temptation but doing so creates lots of little microscopic wounds that are then open to bacteria both from home and then hospital that then baby has to pass by on the way out. And if something goes wroing and you need a C-section, women are told not to shave before a C-section for that very reason, it can make you much more likely to get an infection. That is why doctors no longer do it in the hospital like they did back in the mid- 20th century, it's not safe

    Good to know atomic!

Congrats on your babies ladies!!! So glad all the little November babies are arriving.

Aurora is 17 days old and weighs 6lbs 7oz, still small but up from her birth weigh so we are happy! She is such a great eater and a great sleeper.

No drugs Lizzie. Actually didn't have any with the boys either but their labours were much longer. It's funny my DH ran me upstairs in a wheelchair because I was having trouble walking very fast. He pushed the intercom on the door about 6 times because they were taking their time. We got in and I had about 2 contractions and told the midwife I felt pushy, but for some reason she left the room. I think she was organising paperwork. My DH had raced back down to grab the bags and when he walked back in I had another contraction and started to push. He yelled out "pushing" and about 4 people rushed into the room and I have birth in the next two pushes. No tearing like I had with the boys just a little graze. I only had contractions for 2 hours and only 1 hour of painful contractions.
