You manage to hold off until 8pm swish?! I've been eating closer to 4pm lately
Today I had:
Skimmed Milk
Lunch: Cheese and cucumber sandwich and packet of crisps! I found these new crisps in the supermarket which only have a trace of sodium in them. They were jacket potato and butter flavour - a bit weird really, think I prefer the toddler crisps!
Dinner: I so nearly had nothing except a slice of birthday cake from yesterday! Instead had a wrap with low fat soft cheese and some fresh pineapple with meringue and squirty cream.
Snack: Fruit pie and glass of milk

Sounds good, zanacal. I've been tempted to eat some chips (what we call crisps) a few times when my sodium for the day was so low that I could actually have a full serving of chips and stay within my limits (16 Pringles have only 210mg of sodium in them). I never gave in because I was worried if I started eating them I wouldn't be able to stop!

It's 4:30 right now here, and I'm soooooo hungry. We're going out for supper tonight. I studied the menus and nutritional info at all the local family friendly restaurants and discovered one of them that has a thin-crust pizza that I can actually eat! The sodium total for 4 slices of cheese pizza will be about 700mg, and it will have 20g of protein. Suprisingly, all their pastas were more sodium-heavy, all with at least 1500mg of sodium. I am sooooo excited to have pizza tonight!!!

Enjoy, mocha!!! I'm impressed you were able to get all that information about restaurant food!

It is a big chain restaurant, so they post the nutritional info of their most popular menu items. We just got back. The pizza was fantastic, but it was small and of course it left me wanting more. I ended up eating a piece of ds3's pizza too
, but I think I think my totals for the day will still be reasonable once I have time to add them up.

Oh, and it was sooooo hard to not eat the free garlic bread they brought by, and to refuse the parmesan she offered to grate on top of my pizza.

Here's today:
Breakfast: coffee, CL
Lunch: half a Montreal-style bagel with 1/2 tbsp peanut butter
Supper: thin-crust pizza with cheese, tomato sauce and mushrooms (5 small square slices), 1 baby-sized cone of rainbow sherbet I stole from ds3 (the kids' meals at this restaurant include 3 mini cones per kid, and I figured he didn't need all 3)
Snack: strawberries
Calories: 850
Fat: 44.9
Protein: 34.1
Sodium: 966.5
So, I didn't do so well with fat, but I managed to keep everything else within limits even with that yummy pizza. I can't express how nice it was to eat real food, even if the portion was about a third of what I normally would have had. This is giving me hope that maybe I can cheat a tiny bit over the 2WW without going over my limits, as long as I can find nutritional information for specific restaurants and choose my food carefully. Who would have every thought I could eat real pizza without completely blowing the diet??
I'm most surprised about how low my caloric intake for the day was even with this huge indulgence. I'm actually sitting here thinking maybe I should have something else to eat, but I'm going to be going to bed soon and I don't really feel hungry.

Sounds wonderful mocha - and if you're still within your daily guidelines then you're being creative, not cheating!
