GeGecon of course I am going to tell you girls, just decided not to tell anyone IRL. Don't want to deal with all the stupid comments. There are even a few people I am not going to tell I am expecting twins. I used to get my nails done once a month and when I called the lady to cancel my appointment and tell her I won't be coming anymore because I am pregnant I was so stupid to tell her I am expecting twins. Her reaction was "oh my god, poor you!!". Honestly? If she would be standing in front of me I would have punched her in the face. I feel unbelievably blessed and some stupid people act as if god is punishing me.

What a relief that you will be telling us, Pumpkin. I would have had to come up to Hannover and bribe you to tell me had you decided not to tell us either.

What a stupid cow for saying that. Some people are just sooo annoying.

Ladybug I don't even really remember the names I tried to forget them as soon as possible. I don't like Kurdish girl names they sound so harsh and not girly at all. I love soft names and not names were people have to guess if it's a girl a boy or a dog. Just so you can imagine what I mean, some of the women in DH's family are called Cheman, Kazhan, bazian....

What Gecon said....lol, I like feminine names on girls and my boys to have solidly boy's names!

After being told at 18 weeks, the prayed and swayed for "lady"bug is in my belly. Our Christmas gift comes with some health challenges, but I know that we are strong family and will celebrate her!

Me toooo ladybug, thank you! When I got my BFP I was dreaming of reaching the 10weeks Mark thinking it was ages away and i would never get there. I have a scan next Monday I can't wait. That's all I have to know if both are doing good, it's so hard to tell when it's too early to feel movement. I will be 11w1d way too early for a nub shot . I am going to ask DH to film the scan.

GeCon did you have an NT scan? I wanted to get it done but all the places I called want to charge me for each baby and that's way to expensive. My OB said she would think about it and tell me at my next appointment. If she is not going to charge me for both babies I will set up an appointment but I am not too hopeful.

I felt that way about each of the decade markers....and this might be a first pregnancy for me to hit 40!!!

That is wild that you would have to pay more for a twin scan...over here, the only difference would be if you wanted photos...just more as you would want a few more pix. Twins are amazing....you are going to have such fun all around!!!!

Pumpkin, yes, we did have an NT scan. We decided that we would want to know even if it just to prepare ourselves and DS1 for anything if necessary. So although expensive, especially considering you will be adding two babies to the family, which will undoubtedly bring a lot of change in itself, I would be tempted to get it done for both IF you can afford it.

I have to leave my houseat 3 am which means iI'm getting up at 2 am! I hope I can squeeze a nap in at some point lol
On the upside when I had ds2 at 7am Caesarian I couldn't sleep the night before, and woke up at 5am anyway, so probably doesn't matter when it is, you won't sleep much the night prior. Plus more chance of napping while waiting for the contractions to start, particularly if they start you with gel (useless).
