So quick update. 18 week scan revealed 3rd boy. 24 hrs later we got a call he had a cleft lip. 12 days later had a level 2 scan which showed cleft lip and palate and a structure on the brain that looked smaller.
Skip ahead to Monday 20w5d and saw genetics. Much worry and unanswered questions offered and accepted a fetal MRI. Today at 21+2 we finally got good news! The brain and al structures appear completely normal!!!! Appears to be an isolated cleft lip/palate only.
Maybe now we can accept this boy and plan for him and grieve never having our little girl....

I am so happy that all looks ok with his brain. I hope they are able to quickly repair the issues and he can be a happy and healthy little member of your family!

So glad to hear he is ok. Being a mum to 3 boys is very special and although I'm sure not what any of us would have chosen, it's definitely something to embrace and enjoy. I hope you are able to move on without your DD and really enjoy you DS3. xx
