I have had two u/s confirm girl. I then had an appt with a specialist yesterday. They did u/s there & the girl asked what I was told I'm having. I told her girl. She then said "hmmm....looks like maybe girl." And then "could be swollen labia?" So now I'm three weeks away from delivery and I'm freaking out. Which is is? Swollen labia or a sac?! I have all pink things now!!![]()

My boy pic at 32 weeks was similar, but the bumps looked more "bumpy". Lol. However, at 18 weeks, he had a penis, so I am not doubting. If your other scans showed girl, I would totally believe them!

I had a private ultrasound done at 17 weeks and I was told definitely girl. Then at my regular OB office I had another done at almost 21 weeks & it was
Confirmed girl as well. So this tech was at another office (specialist)and her sounding hesitant threw me off. But she labeled it "girl" and tried to reassure me. The doctor himself came in and I expressed my concern about her reluctance and he looked at my photo, smiled and said "classic hamburger". After two boys I guess I really won't believe it until she's born.

The most accurate time for a gender u/s is between 18-22 weeks. Before 18 weeks things can be hidden or not developed enough, etc..after 22 weeks the baby starts to put on fat and things get "squished".
I would trust your 21 week u/s.Mommy to
