I think my second son has seriously helped me to be a more "pink" mom. He had a lot of health issues and his first year was a roller coaster and I quickly learned I just needed to calm down and take each new day and each new issue as it came. My house is messier these days. My kids aren't on as strict a "schedule" anymore. They watch a little more tv and I no longer feel guilty about it. I get more massages and take more naps and read for pleasure a lot more.

When something upsets me, I try to think about whether or not I'll be as stressed about it five years, or even one year. And I realize I won't be stressed about it at all then, so why freak out now? I know for my last sway I was obsessed, and so this time around, I'm planning every detail now and then not swaying for 6-12 months. I'm not going to worry about it after it's planned out. I am getting all the obsessing out of the way now, lol.
