    Question Positions..

So after learning from our first attempt, that doggy style results in losing some semen from trying to "flip" over to raise the legs for a bit of time after BD.. we decided to give another position a try.. WDYT? Do you think this would reach the cervix just as well?

We propped my hips with a few pillow and then DH on top and I raised my legs right up to over his shoulders.. I think Jen may have shown an animation of this style some time ago

I then did not have to move afterwards!

you know, its funny you said this cos my dh said it makes more sense to dtd in that position,we both reckon its very deep penetration (tmi!) and at least youre already on your back. maybe shettles had never tried that position

You know, I thought the same position from 3PNB clips lol! But did doggy although no chance for big O for me in that position

I think that position you suggested has deeper position then doggy, so if bfn, my next attempt will be in that position

I think any position with deep penetration works well - whatever you are comfortable with and gives you plenty of pleasure

We did a variation of doggy style with me lying flat on my tummy for our sway for our 2yo... DH really likes it and I was able to just roll over onto my back and put a pillow under my hips. I like your position idea too ttc5

That's a great idea! Whatever works for YOU is the most important thing.

For anyone who hasn't seen it, here's the essay I wrote on positions.

I've been wondering the same thing about flipping over after dtd. We do it in other positions that feel way deeper than doggy. Hmm, another thing to consider!

I have to say that "legs on shoulders" is my fave position lol and fyi i never had a big o with any of our conceptions,I think it was stress over trying to get preggo but that did not stop me from getting boys lol
